Little Dumpling Bayside 李小籠

Little Dumplings Bayside is one of two locations. This was my first time here and I must say, this was yummy. I ordered a ton of soup dumplings and I'm sorry, I was way too hungry to take a picture. They were all amazing and the soup was really good. I love dumplings when it's thin and moist and this most definitely was. I spent a pretty penny here so keep in mind if you're paying cash it's as is and if you're paying by card then it's a 3% charge.

Food. Dumplings are big, delicious and huge variety. Atmosphere. Spacious tables with good lighting. Great calm energy. Service. Friendly and warm. Our waiter was kind and efficient at the same time. They had a lot of orders going out so despite being busy we got 5 star service.

I will give this place a 4.5 because of the food. The food here is quite delicious. However, every once in a while, it will taste funny. This could be because it is overcooked or too much seasoning or some other reasons. Other than that, there isn't any issue. The restaurant is small, so you may need to wait. Although, I had not had that issue, yet. The servers frequently check in on every table. Not only that, but the foods come out at a reasonable pace, so there is not a long wait. The servers are all polite and patient, I never had any issue with any of them in all of my times here.

This restaurant serves Shanghainese food and Taiwanese food. It's a bit confusing, but the food is pretty good. We ordered Steamed Pork Soup Dumplings (one was sadly broken when served), Shredded Beef w. Hot Pepper in Brown Sauce, Salt and Pepper Pork Chop, Shredded Pork in Peking Sauce (very saucey, wrap not pictured), Spicy Beef Noodle Soup (you can ask for not spicy), Seafood Crispy Pan-Fried Noodle (my fave), Jumbo Shrimp with Walnut and Mayo (a little sweeter), and Pork Meatball in Brown Sauce (not pictured). There is a free parking lot located at the back of the restaurant which is convenient.

This Chinese restaurant is good for Americans, not for chinese. The taste of food is below average. The calm in the seafood soup hotpot were no fresh, but the service is great. Also cash only.
