Great tutoring center! Long Island Academy offers many classes starting from 3rd grade and up. My kids enjoy going and love earning LIA Bucks for scoring 90%+ on homework. They’re flexible about moving students up levels and make it easy to track homework and test grades online. Highly recommend!

The English teacher, Mr. Darr, at LIA was very helpful in strengthening my child's literary analysis skills, especially with essay organization and argument development. Principal Tina is warm and approachable, takes the time to get to know students, and writes thoughtful progress reports. We also appreciate Margaret and the rest of the staff for creating such a supportive environment.

LIA has been a wonderful support for my ninth-grade son, especially in English and Math. LIA is a fantastic place for SAT prep! My child joined the 2025 summer SAT prep program and scored over 1500-that’s more than a 200-point improvement from the initial test. Tina is wonderful-she’s always encouraging students, very kind and patient when answering questions, and gives great advice for continuing preparation even after the program.
