⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They saved my bird’s life! Our sweet Kiwi was extremely unwell when we arrived, and although I would never recommend showing up anywhere without an appointment, that’s exactly what we did. We drove 40 minutes, desperate for help after being denied by other places, and took a chance by coming here. I’m so grateful we did—they saved Kiwi! The staff was incredibly thorough, sympathetic, and genuinely loving. They treated Kiwi as if he were their own, and their care made all the difference. It’s safe to say that Kiwi will forever be under their care from now on. Highly, highly recommend!

An answer to my prayers! When our 1 year old rat son presented with emergency symptoms over last weekend, I left a message on the practice voicemail at 9pm Saturday night and by Sunday morning I received a call from staff showing great concern and scheduling me for an appointment first thing Monday morning. When we arrived at the hospital, Dr. Lambert and technician Isabel were so professional, caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Alucard was admitted to the hospital for a full workup and treatment, which gave us a diagnosis of autoimmune anemia and kidney dysfunction. With treatments, Alucard is now home and doing SO much better with supportive care. He will be seeing Dr. Lambert and Dr. Lee this upcoming Monday for his recheck and we are all hoping for the best for our rat Alucard. The staff at this practice are angels on earth! Isabel even emailed me with photos and updates while he was in the hospital. I truly believe no other vets could have saved him and we are grateful beyond words for the wonderful staff at this practice. If you are a small animal or exotic pet parent, this office is the best place you can find on LI!

This is - paws down - the most BUNDERFUL vet clinic I've ever gone to. A few months ago, I had to put my elder bun, Thumpkins, to sleep. It was such a hard decision to make and I was so grateful for their guidance. He had been "off" for weeks and none of the other clinics I took him to could tell me what was going on. I'm so glad I brought him here. They figured out what was going on (cancer) and were extremely compassionate as I figured out what I wanted to do. Then, they sent me a beautiful, hand-drawn portrait of Thumpkins as a condolence card. So sweet. I'm relieved I brought him here when I did. He got the best care possible when he most needed it. Fast forward to now - I recently adopted two buns from ACC. One bunny, Nibbles, unfortunately got hit with both an e cuniculi infection and an inner ear infection that required surgery and hospitalization oof. I'm SO grateful for their care. They really nursed him back to life and he's now hopping and bopping again. While his head tilt unfortunately does seem to be permanent, they helped guide me on how best to support him and adjust his living area. I'm so glad to see him back to his usual nibbling and mischievous self. The vets here are such bunny whisperers and truly dedicated to helping buns (and their humans). So glad I found this clinic - would highly recommend to any fellow bunny moms out there!

Both the staff and clinical team at LI Bird and Exotics are comprised of actual earth angels. They are immensely kind, thorough, and accommodating to all of your babies’ health concerns. We have been with them for years and I STRONGLY recommend anyone with birds to consider coming here. In 12/2024, after having her for around 1.5 yrs, one of our budgies, Kiki, become violently ill (vomiting, lethargic, avoiding food). We got an emergency visit with Dr. Lee, who quite literally saved Kiki’s life by testing and rapidly diagnosing her with avian gastric yeast. She was also able to test our other budgie, Sonny (who thankfully did not have AGY). After treating x 1 month with medication, Kiki was cured and restored to her former bubbly, chaotic self! Since then, she has remained in fantastic health, and we have Dr. Lee to thank for that. Even more recently, our other budgie Sonny saw Dr. Lee and received just as meticulous and gentle of an assessment as our Kiki had years prior. Dr. Lee is SO incredibly proficient at what she does. I just cannot stress this enough. Her handling of our (VERY jittery) parakeets is like watching a professional lion tamer at work. Her ability to build trust and rapport even with the smallest of animals is truly inspiring. Her training and certifications are clearly extensive, and she does not recommend any medical treatment unless she is absolutely sure it is medically necessary. She is empathetic, professional, and straightforward with her recommendations. Not to mention, her clinical staff are SO patient and friendly. They take your animal’s clinical histories, ask pertinent questions, and give concise follow up care instructions with such care. They provide both verbal and written instructional material so you don’t forget how to provide the best care for your babies. Thank you Dr. Lee and team for loving our budgies. We are eternally grateful for the ability to love them for even longer because of your amazing care and support! (Pictured below are Kiki and Sonny)

I had my bunny spayed here and the experience was amazing. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive from start to finish. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel comfortable and informed. My bunny recovered very well and is doing great at home. I’m so grateful for the care and attention they gave her. Highly recommend!
