Great worship experience with the entire history with illustrated pictures in frames hung around the temple walls. You can find your calmness if you go inside and sit quietly.

Very peaceful place to walk around, even if you are not buddist. Beautiful buildings and property with body of water in the center. There were prayers going on so we were respectful and did not go into those structures until prayer time was over.

Changing from old Rosemary movie theater back in 1997. The city campus of Mahayana Temple was a gift from the founder James Ying on his own 83rd birthday to his wife. It has the largest Buddha statue in five borough, 16 feet tall 10 feet in width. Create by local NYU female Artist. Is list in 100 things you should do before your kids grow up. You always can pick a Fortune by donate a dollar. Make sure ask the front desk to find out your own Chinese zodiac and your luck for this year.

It’s free. You can pick up a fortune chit and donate a dollar, light up incense sticks without cost. It was really peaceful, on the walls the story of buddha is there, in english as well. Just be respectful, very beautiful
