My wife came across Mak's while searching for a massage therapist in the area, as I was struggling with lower back pain. Wasn't sure what to expect, I was there about 25 mins, treatment included some topical application along with some massaging technique. While this may seem a bit hard to believe, it's true - the following morning, I went about my morning routine, and only when my wife asked me, so how is your back feeling? - that it dawned on me the pain I had less then 24 hrs ago, has completely subsided. Have already recommended friends to go see him with similar aches / pains. By far the best $30 I have spent in New York city. Thanks Mak! 👍🏼

He is not a chiropractor. I went for neck and back pain. The place was very dirty and unsanitary. After I told him what was paining me, he told me to sit down in a chair then put some Tiger balm on me and quickly rubbed my neck. He then told me to raise my arms to show me that I had more movement without pain. I was able to raise my arms before I got there. He did the same with my back and then asked me to walk to see if I feel better. I told him No ,I dont. This all took place within 10 minutes. I asked if he was going to crack my neck and back. He said he does not do that. There was no table anyway. I saw he got the Tiger balm from a very dirty jar. Could'nt leave fast enough. He's more like Mac the Quack quack!
