Matsuzuki Sakura

This is a great new addition to the neighborhood! Sushi is high quality yet reasonably priced. The beef teriyaki and the shumai were standouts. We enjoyed the high cielings and decor, too. We’ll definitely be back for casual meals and as a takeout option!

Just tried this newly opened sushi restaurant in Long Island City, and it feels like a hidden gem! It is located very close to the waterfront and near the 7 train, making it super convenient to get to. There is also street parking available, which is a big plus. The service was fast and efficient, and the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. The food was amazing. Everything tasted fresh and high quality. The tuna tartare was a standout, the rock shrimp was delicious, and the sashimi was incredibly fresh. Great food, excellent service, and an unbeatable location. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend coming :)

SO happy to have this place in the neighborhood! The sushi was absolutely delicious - so fresh and so tasty with some excellent, unique options. Prices are incredibly fair and the staff and owner are very kind and welcoming. The atmosphere is also great; they decorated the restaurant so well. Going to have to stop myself from going there weekly!

Amazing experience. The sushi was fresh, well-prepared, and tasted incredible. Every roll was balanced and flavorful. The staff made us feel welcome and the service was excellent. This is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone who loves sushi.
