A fantastic, authentic Hong Kong style eatery. The food comes out quick, the vibe is casual. Love the texture of the noodles, the authenticity of the flavors and the quality of the ingredients. Highly recommend this spot!

Every time I’m in the area, I have to stop by for their wonton and fish ball noodle soup! The broth is light but full of flavor, the noodles are perfectly springy, and the wontons are fresh and juicy. The fish balls taste homemade and pair so well with the soup. Always satisfying and comforting — my go-to meal every visit!

Growing up and eating wontons all my life, these wontons and noodles are by far the best anywhere. I've come along way from eating wontons from those red waxed paper soup containers in the 80s. Maxis is truly my favorite. We need one in brooklyn. The mock shark fin is also amazing. I have to get that as well everytime. Every think of making a mock birds nest? I love Maxis! Nothing beats Maxi’s when it comes to authentic Cantonese noodle. So many different toppings and you can choose the number of toppings on a wide variety of noodles they offer. Counter service and find your own seat and clean up. All the noodles and dumpling size is humongous so you definitely get bang for your buck. Overall, the restaurant is very clean and the staff is very pleasant. The only downside is the area could be difficult finding street parking but otherwise this is a must when it comes to Cantonese soup noodle.

This was my first time dining in at this location. The line moved quickly, and the food came out fast. The flavors were just as good as before, but unfortunately, much of the beef stew (牛腩) has been replaced with beef shank (牛腱). I ordered a three-topping combo, so the portion balance wasn’t too bad (though I only got one piece of tendon). My mother ordered a two-topping combo with beef stew and tendon, but she only received one piece of tendon, one piece of stew, and the rest was shank. She was not happy. The shank just doesn’t eat the same.
