If you haven’t had May Wah Fast Food you haven’t have AUTHENTIC food in Chinatown. This is a no frills restaurant with quick and efficient service. The food, however, is DELICIOUS. Their chicken leg over rice is always perfectly cooked and marinated in the perfect umami to pair with the fluffy rice. I highly recommend anyone looking for a delicious and filling meal to check out May Wah as they’re such a Chinatown staple with over 30 years of business under their belt.

Chicken over rice came out in less than a minute. The sauce on it is kind of a gravy, with pickled vegetables. Add egg for $1. Solid

This place has amazing tasting food for amazing price. My colleague who knows the area well broguht me here for lunch. It is fast Chinese but the taste was pretty darn good. I had #1 pork chop with the egg and it was just $8. You cannot find such price in the city. The kind lady kept pouring me tea which was pretty nice of her. If i lived by I would probably frequent it. I do want to return to try the fried chicken legs.

Food was delicious, fast, packed & cheap!! 2 meals for $18, $1 extra for an egg each!! Cash only!! Fried pork chop & chicken leg were both sooooo yummy & still tastes the same after over 20+ years later!! Service was quick, friendly & excellent!! Lady even told me that if I can't find parking that she would be happy to bring it to the car!!! Definitely recommended!!! Thanks!!

Place is reasonable. I ordered shrimp and chicken over rice only received fried rice. The chicken leg was mediocre but it was good. The pork Chop was a good size. But it turned today and the pork chop meal was eh.very small portion and it was $9 today. Whatever. Probably won't return. Who knows. I do love hole in wall spots.
