Meadow Dessert

Meadow Dessert has adorable Asian desserts. The design of these desserts has a modern adorable twist to them - and past the instagrammable surface, yes, the desserts are genuinely delicious. The fruit cake instantly brought back memories of Chinese bakeries from my childhood, and the coconut milk bunny dessert tasted a lot like the coconut jelly that I had in Chinese dim sum banquets. The desserts are adorable and they are faithful to the ingredients of their Asian origins. Love it.

I have come here with loved ones multiple times and forgot to leave a review here before I moved out of state. Jade is always kind and welcoming whenever we visited and she is the BEST at making the drinks - especially the strawberry matcha drink. I always add vanilla flavoring for an extra kick of sweetness. It's perfection! The little tiramisu dessert they have with the teddy bear artwork on top is light and enjoyable. Not too sweet. Since I've moved far away, I have yet to find a cafe that makes the matcha/strawberry matcha latte quite like the ones made at meadow dessert. It makes me a little sad that I don't have this special little place to go to until I visit relatives back in NYC again. Thank you, Jade, for your customer service and excellent matcha drink making skills!

Dessert items in their display case were from $5.50-$9. Some looked too cute to eat. Tried their houjicha creme brulee - good texture, not strong tea flavor though. Yuzu matcha iced drink lacked the taste of both ingredients, diluted. Latte was ok. On busy Steinway St so not far from the train. Metered street parking if driving.

The mango bear is cute but the taste is mid. I also ordered the ice chiffon cake, the cream was way too much and the taste is also so-so. Then when I ordered the small espresso, the coffee was the amount of a taste test and it wasn’t even full… And in the google maps, they show a picture of a daifuku and they said they didn’t sell it… so why put that picture if you aren’t planning to sell it?

I ordered one dessert and it had a strong taste of dairy .. nothing like the description. Oolong tea cheesecake has 0 flavor but the presentation is nice.
