Ricky and his assist took my virgin black hair and created this in 5 hours. They worked so diligently! Ricky made sure I knew I would get exactly what I wanted but also was helpful with advice when I wasn’t sure! Such a kind team and Ricky is really talented and knowledgeable, as well as up front with prices and honest with expectations of what he can achieve. Would give more stars! I recommend !

I’ve tried this salon twice so far and I will definitely be coming back. The first time I did a layered cut with Anson and the second time I did a full bleach and color with Ricky ren. I’ll start with Ricky, as someone with thick black hair I was very scared of damaging my hair but I definitely wanted to go blue. Ricky was so good at communicating and he managed to get me from jet black to midnight blue in just 5-6 hours. He definitely knows how to handle bleach without damaging the hair and his color mixing and styling is spot on. I paid $378 for my color and style. Ricky is the one to go to for coloring for sure! Secondly, Anson did a great job cutting my hair. At first I was apprehensive because he didn’t speak English but we communicated through Google translate and sign language. I kept asking for him to to do things like thin certain pieces out etc and he was more than happy to make adjustments. It seems like he doesn’t know what he’s doing at first but after he blows out your hair you’ll be amazed. I paid $60 not including tip which includes wash, cut, and styling. This is the ONLY place I trust to do my hair in NYC for amazing and affordable service. PS: show them this review and say I sent you for a small discount!

I was able to get in right away for a wash and blowout. Fendi massaged my head and neck soooo well I almost fell asleep! Jimmy gave me the best blowout of my life. If I wasn’t from out of town I would be here once a week. My total was $50 but I have very long and thick hair. Highly recommend!

I had another wonderful experience here! This is my second time getting my hair cut, it was with Ricky. He’s so friendly and explained how to style my hair on my own. Definitely coming back!
