After going through menopause, I struggled with melasma on my face. It seemed to grow larger over time, like a veil, and combined with the sunspots I had developed over the years, covering them with makeup became increasingly difficult. It made me feel very self-conscious, so I decided to seek professional help. I found Dr. Stephanie Hu through an online search, and I’m so glad I did! Metro Dermatology, located on Northern Blvd, is modern and welcoming. The staff are friendly, professional, and attentive. Dr. Hu treated my melasma and sunspots with laser toning and V-beam treatments. Before each session, they took photos of my face from three different angles, so they could track the progress of my treatment. The staff also recommended skincare products that were not available at typical drugstores or department stores, but they were highly effective. After about a year of visits and treatments, the spots on my face cleared up to the point where they are barely noticeable. The laser treatments not only reduced my age spots, but they also minimized fine wrinkles, which was an unexpected bonus! I highly recommend Dr. Stephanie Hu and the team at Metro Dermatology. They truly deserve five stars for their exceptional care!
