I have been seeing Dr. Michelle Li as my Primary Family Physician since moving to the Manhattan almost 2 years ago. Dr. Li and her staff have been extremely friendly and accommodating, and I have had nothing but positive experiences since my initial visit during the summer of 2015. I would definitely recommend seeing her if you are looking for a Doctor in the Midtown East area.

I actively expressed that I no longer use weight to help me understand my health. I had to state this three times in order to decline a weight check. Additionally, while I did not bring up size, nutrition, or movement - Dr. Li explicitly told me that I needed to lose weight and “get rid of my tummy.” After seeing my breast reduction scars and the size of my chest, she laughed while asking “well what was the point?” Do NOT go here if you are in a larger body and looking for a safe, size-inclusive appointment.

I could give no star. She’s very rude. No nurse, no assistant in her office, all by herself. Got annual physical check up, she just send you to the lab for blood test. No access to patient portal online. I just wonder why this kind of doctor’s office can exist in NYC. You can go to any other doctor EXCEPT her.

Waited for about 20 minutes past my appointment time, and when I finally saw her she was rude, and distracted. She was confused why I was even there, a general check up. She said nothing is wrong with you, why are you here? Very rudely. And then continued to tell me that 4 drinks a week is a lot and I need to cut back and basically called me an alcoholic. Worst doctor I've ever been to.

The absolute worst doctor I have ever been too. She ignored all of the health issues that I told her about. Instead she decided to lecture me on how I should be more active and find a less stressful job ! I have no idea where she went to medical school but I am convinced that she is not even a real doctor ! She wasted my time and money ! I complained of serious health problems chest pains, and possible kidney infection which she gave me no help with ! She just wrote it off as no big deal. She spent time asking me personal questions instead. But still thought that her terrible service was worth 300 ! Insane ! Do yourself a favor and find another doctor ! She is garbage !
