Mitoushi

My family and I have been coming here for over a decade, and Mitoushi sushi hits the spot every single time! The food is delicious, the staff attentive, and the food is always so fresh. A little bit on the pricey side depending on what you get, but they also have budget-friendly bento boxes and lunch combo meals. You must try the fried banana hat and coconut shrimp!

The Asian fusion restaurant is located in the Homecrest/Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn. The restaurant primarily prepares Japanese cuisine but also has Thai and Chinese dishes. I ordered the sushi and enjoyed the quality was of the fish. Restaurant is located in the corner of a small shopping center. Very nice decor and service. I previously had a salmon bento box that was well-prepared. I also tried the tricolor sushi made with 3 pieces of salmon, 3 pieces of tuna, 3 pieces of white fish and a kamikaze special roll. Sushi was fresh.

Amazing food, but it was a bit expensive and there was a dead roach under my table.

I support the comments below because we experienced the exact same thing at Mitoushi. The food is not the issue — the problem is the staff. After we left the restaurant, the waiters followed us outside asking for tips. Even after giving them money, they said it wasn’t enough and asked for more. It’s very uncomfortable and completely unprofessional. This has happened to us more than once. We even talked to the woman at the reception, but she just said there’s nothing she can do about it. That response really shows that the situation isn’t being taken seriously. I’m leaving this review so future customers know what to expect. The pressure for tips ruins the whole experience

I have ordered Coconut shrimps several times for delivery and every single time it was overcooked burnt… ordered from their other location and it was fine. They should switch chefs
