Melody is an absolute angel. When my wedding plans changed unexpectedly and I needed a seamstress ASAP, I came to Moloty Bridal just hoping someone could take me and accommodate my short timeline. Melody took me with no questions asked and kind reassurance that everything would be ok. She managed to tailor a sample sale dress that was three sizes too big (I had no idea when I bought it from elsewhere), modify both the straps and neckline to fit the vision I had for it, and create a bustle that was easy to maneuver for my friends that hadn’t seen the process prior to the wedding day. The dress turned out beautifully, I felt taken care of, and I am so grateful for her. I would 100% recommend Melody for your wedding dress alterations!

So grateful to have found Moloty for my wedding dress alterations. Melody did a fantastic job on both my ceremony and reception dresses. I had originally brought my ceremony dress to Alts for tailoring, but they quoted me $1K+ to hem the dress and take it in at the waist. This would’ve cost more than I paid for the dress itself! After receiving this outrageous quote, I found Moloty via Yelp and sent them a message. I sent a photo of my dress, and Moloty gave me a quote that was less than half of what Alts had quoted me. Scheduling appointments and fittings with Moloty was super easy - they are quick to respond via text. I’m so happy with how the alterations turned out. Melody was so meticulous and made sure the dresses would be comfortable to move around and sit in. She even added a band on the inside of my strapless ceremony dress for extra support; I felt so secure and didn’t have to worry about my dress slipping down at all. She’s the best!

Jeff and Melody are lifesavers!!! My spiritual daughter had ordered her dress at another location and when it arrived six weeks before her wedding, it was the wrong one. They promised to have the right one by the end of August and needless to say the wedding was today and the dress never arrived. We called Moloty ten days before the wedding and they said we had lots of options. Once we arrived, Jeff took care of us in the most professional manner. He gave us an iPad that showed us lots of options that they had in stock. We picked three options and the first one was the perfect fit. At first, he said they couldn’t do the alterations, but he asked Melody to take a look. Melody, with the agility of a gymnast, put the pins in and set it up. Melody and Jeff said they could work around their schedule and get it down. What a relief! They said it would take a week and only four days later they sent a text saying it was ready. We went the following day and it fit like a glove. My dear spiritual daughter was freaking out because she didn’t have a dress but then we ended up with a better one than she had originally ordered in the other place. I highly recommend Moloty for their wide variety of options, incredible professionalism, cheerful manner and outstanding prices. I’m going to recommend them to all of my brides.

I bought Melody my wedding dress to be tailored. She helped calm my nerves and had fair prices. I told her I needed a hem, the sides taken in and a bustle. I had two fittings with her. First, she cut the hem and then asked me to come in again to make sure the bustle was right before she continued her work. She made sure I could bend, sit, dance, walk in my dress. All those positions were accounted for when she fitted me into my dress. My dress fit me like a GLOVE! She was a perfectionist and I loved that about her. She also did the alterations on my evening dress. It was a salsa dress and it was too long. Below I will attach the pictures from my wedding day. My wedding dress alterations costed $500 and my evening dress was $71.

I had a phenomenal experience at Moloty. Why? Most importantly, my dress fit like a glove and made me feel (and look!) amazing, despite being taken in about two sizes. The woman I worked with was kind. The price was excellent ($740.35 post-tax, in spring 2025, for taking in, hemming, bustling, adding cups). They can turn things around faster than other shops (I didn’t need this, but it could be helpful). And finally, as a phone call phobic millennial, I also loved that I could text with the shop (and they were responsive). Only drawback was the commute, but I’d make this choice again in a heartbeat.
