Mosa Spa

Mosa spa is the cleanest, most spacious and comfortable place in New York. The masseurs are very professional and excellent. My friends also like it very much. Besides, the receptionist is very polite and dressed very formally and beautifully. We haven't seen her for a long time! But what made us feel extremely disgusted was that when I was paying, the receptionist was eating food and bad attitude while talking to me, and the smell was extremely unpleasant last week , we don’t know what is the pretty receptionist’s name , she is very neat .

This is not a real spa, this is a makeshift Spa in and out like a nail salon. When you ask questions everyone asks as if they don’t speak English. I have been to many Spas for massages. This place was the worst experience I have ever had. From the time I walked in. The front desk lady acted as if she couldn’t find the names she tried to make me pay although I had a paid voucher. They had a $50 special for Valentine’s Day. I refused because I told her my voucher would expire. Then she said I double-book so she’s losing money. I had to explain that it was two separate vouchers for my husband and me. She called a woman to take us to these makeshift rooms. No one tells us what to do. A sign on the wall says leave underwear on. Then a male with their regular clothes on comes in so my massage never ask any questions. We never filled out a paperwork to ask about injuries. He just begin to give me a deep tissue massage. I stop him and explain I have back injury no pressure. I asked about essential oils. He say YES OIL. 90 minutes of baby oil. Not one scent. I went to restroom that had towels and cleaning supplies everywhere. I come our see the lady again ask her to translate because the pain to my back and I wanted aromatherapy she said what is that’? We have Swedish with essentials oils I said ok. She said something to him mandarin as if she told him what I wanted Liz he started on my legs with the soy oil and pressure. He never gave me the head massage that was included: he did the stones and said FINSHIED 90mins. Again when I asked he acted liked he didn’t speak English. Once I was don’t she never asked any questions until my husband came out after I was sitting there waiting for him for about 10 minutes. When we were leaving she asked him. Did he want to leave a tip or donation. That was weird because I had been finished, I booked the place. For the first time ever I told my husband NO. Not sure if it was race things I don’t want to assume. But even when I came in smiling and saying happy Valentine’s Day. It was not pleasant. We’ve been to four seasons spa, mandarin, spas on other countries. I was so embarrassed to have taken my husband there for Valentine’s Day. It was like taking in to back of the nail salon for spa experience. Never again will buy a Groupon for Spa and not do my research. They didn't wear GLOVES, not EVEN. Uniformed spa top to make you feel like you were at a SPA.YOU COULD HEAR DVERY COMVERSATION GOING ON FROM THE CHECK-IN AND OTHER ROOM. Because once you go behind the wall none of the rooms are built to celiling

O STARS IF I COULD. Do not come here! They just put oil on me and did not massage. Waste of money. Then when I didn’t want to tip, they held me hostage and didn’t open the parking garage until I tipped. I was stuck in the parking garage against my will until I tipped. I’m a woman and I felt very uncomfortable. Seems like a very sketchy happy ending place and needs to be shut down!

Have had a few decent experiences here in the past, but our visit today was extremely disappointing. My husband called ahead to make a 4pm reservation for a couples massage. We arrived just a few minutes after 4 (around 4:03), but when we checked in, the front desk asked us for all of our information as if no appointment existed. It didn’t seem like they had any record of our booking at all. Then we were told we had to pay upfront for the massage. On top of that, we were encouraged to pay cash and use their ATM because they charge a 9% fee for credit cards, which felt excessive and questionable. As we were preparing to go to the ATM, the front desk informed us that another walk-in customer had supposedly arrived right at 4:00 and taken the other masseuse, leaving only one available. We were then told we could no longer get a couples massage and that it was our fault for being late. This made no sense. Either our appointment wasn’t properly recorded given the line of questioning when we came in, or we were “late”-it can’t be both. And even if we were a few minutes behind, a 3-minute delay should not result in losing a scheduled appointment. A reasonable grace period or even a courtesy call would have been the bare minimum. After multiple frustrating and disrespectful interactions, we decided to leave. As we were walking out, the front desk person ran out the door to try to get us to change our minds. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

I came here with a Groupon and was treated very poorly. The front desk lady was rude and made me feel unwelcome from the moment I arrived. The therapist didn’t speak English and gave me a deep tissue massage instead of the relaxing one I booked. At the end, both the therapist and the receptionist waited for a tip. I gave $10, but the receptionist said “minimum $20” and pressured me to pay more, even suggesting I use my card. It was extremely awkward and embarrassing. I left feeling uncomfortable and disrespected instead of relaxed.
