I was very lucky to get in to see a specialist the day that my knee gave out on me. Within an hour I was able to see an orthopedic doctor, and within a couple of hours had X-rays. The next day I was able to schedule a follow up appointment and get an injection to the affected knee. An amazing amount of care within 24 hours! Dr Yeung was very easy to work with and explained all my options very clearly. It was as good an experience as I could have hoped for.

I saw Dr. Manjunath and was told to follow up if symptoms persisted. I tried contacting her for several weeks via phone and app chat and was repeatedly told my message was “high priority,” but I never heard back. I finally went to urgent care where I received a proper diagnosis. I also didn’t receive the bill until months later, and when I called I was told management would contact me — they never did. The lack of follow-up and communication was very disappointing.

**DO NOT GO HERE***The people at this location do not care about their patients wellbeing. I went in on the 4th of September for a follow up the doctor recommended a MRI but I was advised I would have to wait for them to send it to my insurance for authorization before I can schedule my appointment I called a week later and they told me it’s too soon to keep waiting. Two weeks later I called again and was told I would get a call back from the office. (When you call you get connected to. Call center and not directly to the office)I decided to call my insurance company myself and they notified me that the office has not sent them the MRI request. I called them again and requested to speak the office manager about my situation they said I would receive a call back in the 23rd. The call center sent this request as a high priority message to the office. They indeed this not call me on the 23rd and I called again the 24th with was 4 business days since I requested the call back and the call center representative said nobody from the office had even opened the message. Since then I’ve been calling and the only communication I received was a voicemail from the receptionist saying they did not have my insurance information and I should log on to their app and enter it. My insurance information is in the app and my insurance has received my claims from both my visits. I have also left messages on the app and nobody has responded to me. Very disappointing experience. I should have known to go somewhere else because the day I was in for my last appointment there were ppl waiting in the lobby to get X-rays since before I got there only to later be sent home because their machine was broken. Through all this I am in pain and in need of this MRI so I can get treatment but they don’t seem to care. And also the Admi staff at this location carry themselves in a very unprofessional manner in the lobby area more like teenagers working at a fast food joint instead of professionals in a sensitive line of work. Look elsewhere is you you value good health care.

I scheduled an appointment to meet with Dr. LISSETTE GIRARD for a 1730 hrs (5:30pm) visit through ZocDoc.com I received the proper email notifications right away, that require "pre-fill check in" that was completed prior to my which CONFIRMED my appointment. While en-route to my appointment at or about 1713 hours (5:13pm) I received a phone call from a person who stated their name was "Colleen".... this person asked, what is the reason for my visit today... I explained my circumstances and they said, Okay...see you soon. Upon my arrival at exactly 1730 hrs (5:30pm) I was greeted at the first floor front desk by reception who signed me in and directed me to the 2nd floor to be seen. Upon my arrival to the 2nd floor I was greeted by a nice person who asked me who I was there to visit. I advised of who my appointment was with and I was without delay advised that I would need to be rescheduled because the Dr is not available today at this time... Confused, I asked for the reason, and I was advised that Dr Giard only does video visits after 1700 hrs (5pm) and the next ability to be seen wouod be the 29th of December 2025... Today's date if appointment is (12/15/2025) Im obviously requesting an appointment (leaving my prior scheduled responsibilities early to attend) because of a medical condition that needed to be addressed... and they want me to wait until the end of the year to be seen .... seriously, Not Acceptable and/ or Professional. I will say that Omar who works the front desk was visually upset with my situation and he took immediate action to do his best to help with my debochal of events that occurred. This egregious behavior of Mt. Sinai Hospital is abhorrent and should not be tolerated. There is no good reason to take someone's life minutes away from them without compensation or cause. It may have only been 15 minutes tops that I spent there, but thats 15 minutes of my life I will never get back, not to mention my $22.⁰⁰ parking garage fee and the 10 minutes I spent walking to and from my vehicle. In closing, I would like to thank Omar for stepping up to bat and doing his best to address the problem at hand by emailing his supervisor with the complaint, as I stood counter side. That man needs a promotion for his efforts and care to attempt to keep me as a valued patient. I just pray for the hospitals sake that this lump growing inside my left nasal passages isn't some kind of tumor that needs early intervention to correct... I had an ENT visit. The office is very understaffed and my doctor was very rushed. I complained about a sore throat and although she did a nose scope she didn't even look in my mouth. The office itself is clean enough but the building is covered in graffiti and you can't even see out the windows. I'd recommend going to another location if you can help it.
