I found out about this place from my brother in law so we gave it a try. My first impression was positive as it was really bright, clean and the decor was very inviting. I liked how the menus had lots of pictures of the dishes. We ordered the crab soup dumplings which is a must have item. It was absolutely delicious and paired very well with their sweet vinegar. Just as good if not better than Joe Shanghai's but in a much more convenient location in Brooklyn. The pork belly was really tender and flavorful. Perfect to eat with a bowl of white rice. The sweet spare ribs packed a lot of flavor as well. Overall the price was right and the food was great. We'll definitely be coming back here many more times as we saw a couple of dishes other folks ordered that looked really good. UPDATE 2: So good we had to come back for the soup dumplings and try the other items. It definitely did not disappoint at all! Grandma's Pork was braised so perfectly tender and oodles of flavor! The spicy chicken was on point! The right amount of savory, spicy and the perfect amount of crispness. The scallion noodles was another star dish. So simple yet done amazingly! The spare ribs was a bit dry the first time but they redeemed themselves the 2nd time and it was much more juicy this time around. I actually dipped some of the spicy chicken in the spare rib sauce :) The chicken in spicy oil is sooo good. Literally every piece was the perfect dark meat and no bones! Got some soup dumplings for take away it tastes just as great. Remember to get the delicious sweet vinegar to go! UPDATE3: The general tsos tasted really good but the texture wasn't crispy enough. I prefer the breading to be very crispy. The golden shrimp had a nice salted egg flavor but I would prefer it within the shell unless it was made crispier. The scallion pancake is cooked perfectly. Light and delicious! UPDATE4: Wuxi ribs - braised to the point where the meat falls off the bone. Tastes similar to grandma's pork without all the fat. I really like a edible cartilage. Take out tastes just as good as eating in!!

The place had a warm, comfortable fun feel about it, and the service was amazing! I asked the waiter " Whats good?" And he didn't disappoint! I got the scallion beef (delicious) and some of the best soup dumplings I have had in a long time! Pork soup and the crab meat and pork dumplings- DELICIOUS! I plan on coming back very soon. This place is definitely on point!

I was in the mood for soup dumplings, so we tried Mr. Bun. We had their pork dumplings $8.50 for 6, and their crabmeat & pork dumplings $9.95 for 6. It hit the spot! Nice thin dough holding the juicy filling! Also ordered their cucumber salad, fried buns & fried beef udon. Everything was good, but the soup dumplings were yummy!

I would always walk pass Mr Bun but never tried it until recently. The food is pretty decent. I definitely recommend the soup dumplings since that's their specialty and its price is very affordable for what you're getting. Pork Soup Dumplings (10/10): The skin is thin and it is FULLL of soup. Be wary of breaking the skin while transferring it onto your spoon because one wrong move and all that soup is gone lol Kungpao Chicken: asked for the non-spicy one and it's drenched in sauce. I was not expecting the Kungpao to have peanuts, or be somewhat sweet but I enjoy the texture and crunch the peanuts add to the dish. Shredded Pork and Preserved Cabbage: a bit flavorless and skimpy on the meat. I liked that the noodles were somewhat al-dente but everything else about this dish was very mid. My party was also not a fan of this Overall, the soup dumplings and rice dishes are worth the money. They're delicious and well-made. I think it's best to skip out on the noodle dishes— but maybe it deserves another chance.

Food was bland. I think they don’t know what salt and pepper is. Even their spicy food lacks the kick and flavor. Service was OK. Not too busy. Nothing exceptional. They will refill your tea if you ask them. Atmosphere was alright. Music was chill with One Piece and other anime decals. It was the food that was lacking for me.
