Mr.Q’s BBQ

Gem in the neighbourhood, doesn’t get anywhere near the recognition it deserves. While you may be able to get skewers from the stalls a couple blocks away, Mr Q’s delivers the whole experience. Everything tasted really good and well prepared, hospitality was great. For the whole experience it is very affordable. Been here a few times now and it doesn’t disappoint. Ben is a great host and helped make everything easier and cleared up any questions. Come give it a try, who doesn’t love meat on a stick?

The food is absolutely delicious! full of flavor and beautifully prepared! The service is outstanding and impressively fast. The young woman who helped us was incredibly sweet and friendly, making the experience even better. The place is also very clean and well organized, which adds to the overall comfort. Highly recommended! I will come back soon

Literally brought me to tears. Some of the best bbq I’ve had. They have a spice mix that goes on everything and just… yeah it’s different. Inexplicably good. Tried duck heart, chicken wing, cauliflower, chives, pork cheek, short rib, and lamb. Will return with a group and eat the whole menu

This is a lovely little gem in the neighborhood! The skewers were GREAT, wonderfully seasoned and grilled to perfection. However the tin foil dish we ordered was bland and completely flavorless (I think they forgot to add seasoning and salt) and that was the most expensive dish and we felt like with the money wasted on that we could’ve just ordered more skewers. Service could be a bit better as the waitress didn’t bother refilling our waters or seemed too thrilled to be there. I would still return, I would just stick to their skewers and don’t bother wasting your money with the other dishes. Overall, great place!!!

I'll start with the positive: the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Unfortunately, the food was way too overpriced. Mainly, I ordered the 麻辣香锅 . 36 dollars, and there was very little beef, lotus root, and seafood. It was literally almost all cauliflower. An absolute ripoff. Look at the photo for proof. Go to Flushing for a more authentic and affordable experience.
