My Sunny Laundry

Isabel is such a great worker. She helps us every time we come in and is very lovely. We look forward to seeing her when we come to do our laundry.

A clean reliable laundromat filled with good people. Great place to do your laundry or drop off. The staff has always been great to me, Isabella especially. She helped me out tremendously last time I was there with some tough stains I had.

It’s a generally nice laundromat, but they allow people to come in here and blast music on speakers disrupting what is supposed to be a calming experience in the laundromat. There should be signs saying that this is a shared space and loud music is not allowed. It’s very rude and unprofessional to allow that in an establishment.

I washed my clothes here a few times, and there’s a few reasons I don’t enjoy it. First, it’s too many tables crowding the space and you can’t get through especially when people are washing their clothes in the other machines. People get annoyed when you try to pass through (which is understandable). And good luck if you have a laundry cart or a big bag with you. Then the payment system.. they charge a credit card fee when you reload the laundry card they force you to buy. Even if you use debit, they charge a fee!! Then when you tap they charge but don’t give you right amount of minutes on the dryer, so the machine is literally stealing money (it happened to me TWO TIMES). The lady who works there doesn’t speak English and isn’t good at math so it takes forever to explain the issue. Dryers are questionable and don’t fully dry the clothes. It feels like they’re on eco mode and they stop drying every few minutes then restart again. I’m not sure if that’s an energy conservation tactic but you’re not getting the drying power that you’re paying for. The worker there was eating inside and tried to take my dry cleaning with her food covered hands. There’s a TV that’s blasting in Spanish and loud music in the system at the same time. You can’t do your laundry in peace. And the money you spend for this subpar experience is too high. Small load is 5$$ for x minutes and large load is over $7!! It’s not cheap by any means.

My order was placed two days in advance, on the day of I got a message that the order is running late for pickup and then I got a message that pickup has been cancelled. When I called My Sunny Laundry a bot answered and transferred me to a laundry attendant who only speaks Spanish. Yet I placed my order in English. Up to now there has been no further messaging advising me on why the order was cancelled in the first place. Pickup instructions were clear and in fact I have been home all morning. I feel like my time was wasted.
