Alex is the best bakery all around! I’ve tried lots of bakeries but none compare to this one, the desserts are absolutely divine—soft, fluffy, incredibly fresh, with a rich, timeless sweetness that tastes like a recipe handed down through generations, and every piece feels well-made in-store, these dessert cakes are legendary in their, a true classic in every bite. I can’t believe how adorable and big each dessert is. The best prices around, without sacrificing quality. You won’t find these delicious deserts at these pieces anywhere in NYC. Alex is great at what he does, he loves his craft and provides excellent customer service.

The small bakery is located in the Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn. They bake various cakes, pies, tarts and pastries. I ordered a slice of Snickers cake. The cake was similar to a Snickers candy bar. The cheesecake topped with blueberry was fresh. The cakes were very good and well-prepared. Friendly and helpful staff.

It was a very special day for my love, and that cake was something they really liked. Now I have to look at the last minute to see if I can find it somewhere else. I would just recommend paying more attention to orders and customers, because on important dates, this makes a big difference.

The appearance of the cake was definitely impressive and pretty. The fresh fruits in and on top of the cake were nice. However, the cake itself was a major letdown. It was rough and gritty, and overly saturated with a sugar syrup. Every bite there was a gush of syrup and the cake was so wet. This cake was $45. The service was friendly. Other pastries and cakes in the display looked tasty but I’m unsure if I would return to give it another try.

Usually my go to place to buy cakes! They usually taste AMAZING (Literally the best I’ve tasted in FOREVER) and I always recommend to my colleagues and friends. Unfortunately, I bought different varieties of cake today from here and they were all dry as cardboard and not fresh at all. I looked at the reviews and saw that it’s becoming a trend recently. I’m really disappointed especially since I come from Long Island to Sheepshead bay and I spent $100+ on these cakes… Honestly don’t think I will be purchasing from here again unless the cakes are as delicious as before with the reviews reflecting that.
