Highly recommend the picked fish dish is you had this before. Worth adding the extra for the snakehead fish as it is so delicate and sweet. Oh and dishes comes with white rice.

I love to spend my money here always, the food , the spices are always perfect for me, i never regret spending money on this restaurant. Love their braised duck which is big portion and perfect for winter, cold days to activate your mood, also love their chili boil which my goes to when I am there. Not a big fan of the dessert. I am just not used to that taste.

I have had Nai Brothers’ Suan Cai Yu (saeurkraut fish) soup a couple of times. I highly recommend the green pepper broth, with sliced beef or the signature basa fish. The signature broth was good too, but the green pepper broth gives more citrusy kick. Large portion was big enough for 2-3 people. Great taste.

We usually go to a place in flushing called tai er, but since we were in LIC, we decided to go here. First, the servers were not great with English, so we had to repeat stuff a few times. Luckily we lived in china for a few years so it was ok. The signature dish was amazing and we even ordered a second one cuz it was delicious. However, the tomato with beef was just ok and wasn’t our fav. The cucumber was good, and the beef snacks were just ok. So our experience was ok. We would recommend tai er in flushing New York taste wise, but this meal only came half the price we get at tai er.

Stopped by for a late Saturday dinner. It was a bit busy around 8pm but there were a handful of tables for us to get seated quickly. We weren't keen on getting something too spicy that evening, so we ordered the sunshine tomato 日照番茄 fish with basa fish. Overall flavour was decent, but a little bit too unbalanced. The broth felt a bit too heavy/salty while the fish tended to be a bit on the blander side. Portion size was good for the price point. I also got a mango smoothie with sago pomelo 楊枝甘露 which was fine and otherwise unremarkable. Price point was as expected nowadays (esp in this neighbourhood). All in all a fairly uneventful visit. The food was fine, but nothing to write home about. Price point was pretty reasonable across the board. With all the great similar choices of Chinese restaurants in the area, though, I'm not sure I'll be back here too soon.
