Nails by mi

I’m a dive bar bartender which means that daily my hands are exposed to a lot of water , ice , cleaning liquids . I constantly crack open beer cans and give my extensions all kinds of challenges and my gel x hold up to anything. I’ve gotten nails done by Vivian and Ivy , they both did perfect job. On the pu tires below you can see my extensions freshly done and after a month of wearing. Highly recommend, it’s worth every penny . So happy to have found this place .

It’s a hole in the wall kind of nail salon. Small and cozy! I personally prefer nail technicians who care about their quality and attention for detail. I made an appointment and was served right on time. I explained my nail goals and the nail technician told me the best route for it! My nails came out just like I envisioned them. The cuticle work was clean, my nails were evenly shaped, and the color was perfect for fall. I’ll definitely be back!

I am obsessed with this nail salon. I come here from Brooklyn for manicures. The quality of service is incredible and the entire staff is so lovely. It’s a small studio so it has a much more personalized feel. I got engaged with the nails they did for me and I’m so glad!!! Also, they always have gossip girl playing. I’m so antsy when it comes to getting my nails done and having something fun to watch makes the experience so much more enjoyable. I’m a customer for life!

Small, cozy, efficient, and amazing! I traveled from NJ just to get an appointment with Vivian after reading all the great reviews. A salon near me had ruined my nails—after a gel manicure, they became extremely weak. Within a week, almost all of my nails were torn and hanging by a thread. Vivian carefully removed the old gel without causing any pain and was able to repair my nails so I didn’t lose length or end up with exposed nail beds. The Japanese gel lasted a full month and only needed to be redone because of growth. Otherwise, it didn’t budge and actually made my nails stronger. 🤗 Update Feb ‘26: 4.5/5 ⭐️ 2nd time here and another good experience with Vivian. I do wish she did a better job sanitizing her workplace after her customer left, before calling me over. I also wish they had a phone holder and comfier seats that roll…Two hours in the same position makes my back ache.

Have been going to Nails by Mi for years now and they always do so good :) they have a great selection of technicians and they’re very communicative to make sure you get the nails you want. Always love the results after being here !! Overtime they’ve helped me go from using acrylics / tips to manicures !
