Small but well-organized school, with great facilities and welcoming teachers and staff. Our 3-4-year-old son spent one semester there, and we had a very positive experience. We’re a Brazilian family who stayed in New York for one semester, and the school warmly welcomed our son, even though he joined in March and stayed full-time (from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Overall, he had a great experience. Even without speaking any English, the teachers made a real effort to help him feel comfortable and adapt well. The school is located on the second floor and has an indoor yard for outdoor play and activities. They provide meals and offer a summer school program.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this school. We have been attending there for two years now and it has been wonderful not only watching our LO grow but getting to know all the amazing staff here. From warm greetings the moment you walk in the school to super effective curriculum and teaching standards, the school has it all! It feels good to watch your child grow and see him with teachers that treat him like he is one of their own.

New Milestone Preschool & Daycare in Astoria is Amazing!!! My toddler has been attending New Milestone since September of last year, and every day she is eager to go back to school. The teachers are dedicated and care about making the kids feel unique and special. I specially love the open door policy and to know that I can drop by at any time to check on my little one. This is the second daycare that she has attended and I am extremely happy to have found the right fit for my daughter. I have no doubt about the skills of the staff and my daughter will be enrolled there next year for Pre-K. Maria D.

New Milestone is a great school! Very well organized, with a solid curriculum and, most important, wonderful teachers. My son just attended Pre-K class during the very unprecedented times of pandemic and right after a big move from West Coast to NYC. He felt welcomed and happy from the very first day at New Milestone. The school faced these months of pandemic with an extremely organized policy and all the safety measures put in place. Thanks to that, the kids had the chance to attend their classes in person all year long and follow the regular curriculum. NM has a very nice outdoor playground that is not so easy to find in NYC! A special mention to my son's teachers, and especially the head teacher Ms Monica: she is extremely talented, prepared and engaging. We will miss her and Ms Wajia so much!

My daughter has been attending New Milestone Preschool Astoria for almost 7 months and I am very happy with the decision we made to send her to this school/location. I looked as several places in the area and this one got my attention because it was new, has natural light, an outdoor area for the kids to play safely and close to the train. Margaret provided the tour and she was warm, welcoming and answered all my questions without hesitation. My daughter has been in Ms. Brittany’s class from the beginning and she is the main reason why I and my daughter are happy with this school. I really like the monthly curriculum Ms. Brittany puts together to teach the kids. My daughter is learning, creating and having fun while being in a safe, caring and loving environment. I am also very happy that Ms. Simone has joined Ms. Brittany’s class because she too is loving and caring toward my daughter. They both create a wonderful learning and growing atmosphere for kids. I’m giving it 4 stars because there is always room to grow. For one, I would like to see this school move to a computerized system for checking kids in and out, daily reports and sending pictures.
