Master John is truly accomodating. Since I own a business, I was only able to take classes at 6am in the morning. He was there every morning for a year and a half without fail. He demonstrates understanding and a true passion for what he teaches. He told me once, “if someone wants to train and workout, I will be available”. So happy for the experience!

My toddler has short attention span and has huge separation anxiety. Master John is really great with kids that he’s patiently find various ways to make my toddler felt welcomed 🙏. He made time to train my kid and always observant of what practices to do to meet my son’s needs. My toddler is now getting used to the place and to master John. He’s also slowly becoming more confident coming to class and learn TKD skills. Thank you Master John 🙏. Totally recommend this TKD school!

Incredible Taekwondo School!!! Master John Rodriguez is one of the best instructors I’ve ever met. He taught me the meaning of discipline, hardwork, and family. Every class I had was amazing it never disappoints when you are kicking, sparing, and putting in your sweat, blood and tears into every workout. I truly felt welcomed by NYBBC and loved the fact that Master John made the dojan feel like a second home he also spoke Spanish to make sure other students who didn’t understand English very well felt welcome and safe while still learning Real Taekwondo.

Fabulous TKD School! I've been taking adult classes with Master John for years and have been blessed to compete in states & nationals with his coaching. EVERY class I've been to is filled with an intense workout and sweat- enough to fog up the windows. You learn forms, kicks, boxing, sparring & strength training. At the end of each class, he drops words of wisdom to let us reflect how we carry ourselves, both on and off the mat. It's fun, welcoming, and you are surrounded by others who want to get stronger alongside you. Truly a gem of a place.

I have trained under Master John Rodriguez for nearly seven years and have enjoyed every session I've been to. Through his coaching, I was able to improve both physically and mentally and obtain my black belt because of it. My classmates and I work on both traditional and olympic Taekwondo which include forms, sparring, kicking, and body strengthening. Master John Rodriguez is very knowledgeable and understanding. I still currently train at NYBBC and I continue to improve each day! I am honored to continue to learn under John Rodriguez.
