One of my mom’s favorite place. They give lots of banchan or side dishes with Korean dishes. I like more nicer atmosphere otherwise it’s 5 star all the way.

Pretty average Korean BBQ, but not bad at all. The vibe is casual, kind of loud, but fun with a group. Not a destination spot, but a decent choice for a quick BBQ fix.

One Star – Highly Do NOT recommend. The low reviews really do speak for themselves. To the ladies that gave me that death stare on my way out. Dont worry. I wont be coming back! I came here hoping to give this place the benefit of the doubt. This wasn’t my first time at this restaurant. I didn’t really have a bad experience before. The food itself is actually decent. Not amazing, but not bad either. I had seen the low reviews and wanted to believe it might’ve just been a few bad days. But after tonight, I understand why this restaurant has bad reviews. From the start, the service felt cold and unwelcoming. One of the waitresses was polite, but the others gave off a very bad vibe. It made us feel like we didn’t belong. When I ordered the galbi BBQ plate, one of the older servers immediately asked, “Is that all you’re ordering? You know it’s only for one person.” (The plate, mind you, was $48.99.) My wife hadn’t even had a chance to look at the menu yet. That was strike one. Later, we noticed there was still uncooked meat on the bone left on our table, and the grill had been removed without any explanation. We had to ask whether they would finish cooking it. Thankfully, one of the nicer waitresses stepped in and offered to take it to the back to cook it properly, but again, we shouldn’t have even needed to ask. Then came the issue with the leftovers. We asked for a takeout container, and the first one they brought was wet. My wife politely asked if it had been reused, and they responded that they rinse containers before handing them out. (Why would you rinse a takeout container??) When she asked for another one, they were annoyed, but gave us one with some strange black substance on the rim. At that point, my wife was understandably upset and decided to just finish her food there instead. It was absolutely disgusting. They even hovered around my table to make sure I used the takeout container. (Something shady going on?) They eventually brought out a clean container, a bit too late at this point. The fact that we had to go through that many steps for something so simple was frustrating. Now, I was ready to leave a 3-star review, since not all the waitresses were like this and the food really wasnt bad, but as we were leaving, mind you, I tipped them pretty decently since I realize there were multiple servers, I was ready to say thank you for helping us tonight. Before I even had a chance to open my mouth, one of the rude servers looked at me with the meanest look on her face, turned around, ignored me, and proceeded to talk shit about us. Why do I think this? Because normally, when you leave a restaurant, they thank you for visiting. This one was different. This seemed personal. I don’t get it. We were pretty respectful and didn't make a scene. All we asked for was some cleanliness and respect. How do you treat your customers this way? Especially after I was about to say thank you. Not even a simple “thank you” or “have a good night.” I will never be coming back to this restaurant. There are no second chances in situation like this. When you leave this type of impression, it speaks volumes. They left a severely negative impact on me and completely ruined my night. Customer service is a huge part of the dining experience. Even if the food had been mediocre, genuine hospitality could’ve made the food more enjoyable. The coldness, judgment, and disrespect make it not worth the trouble to come here. No dish is worth it, especially at these prices with the extremely rude attitude. It’s such a shame. I wanted to like this place. But now I understand why so many people dont. Recommend the numerous other korean bbq places in the area like Jongro or Cast Iron Pot, both on northern blvd with way better food and service.
