Nubreed Martial Arts Academy

If you're looking for training from extremely professional and well-rounded/extremely knowledgeable Instructors... then this is the place you want to be at. They not only train you to hone in on your skills, but the environment they actively create is very caring... it's more than just a business.. even my classmates give off more of a family vibe than the typical closed off competitive vibe and I'm truly grateful for having found NUBREED. HUGE shout out to my main teachers- Sifu Alex, Sihing Devin, Sihing Dan and most importantly Sifu Luigi who is ALWAYS so supportive of my stunt training goals and who actually makes the time to check in on his students wellbeing. Love you guys!!!!

Nubreed is fantastic! I'm so glad I found this place. They provide a safe and professional environment for all age groups. The atmosphere and energy are fun and respectful. The workouts and training are excellent. The whole facility is spacious and always super clean. . Sifu Luigi and Sifu Alex along with all the other instructors show great dedication to their craft and vested interest in all their students. It's a great community and family environment. There's something for everyone here to learn. As for myself I'm a new student and enjoying every minute of it. I also commute from Long Island to attend and totally worth it!

My son attends Nubreed and we are very happy. When Nubreed was recommended to us, it was described to have a family atmosphere where the instructors really care, and after two years that has proven to be true. They teach great fundamental lessons, promote wellbeing, communicate often, host events outside of scheduled classes (which my son loves and won’t miss any) and more. My son enjoys Nubreed very much and takes it seriously which says a lot. Overall excellent value and investment in my child provided by the team at Nubreed!! I hear the same for the adult classes as well. Thank you Nubreed and all best for 2024.

Our son Leo has been attending Nubreed now for over 2 years, and we couldn't be happier with the instruction, the instructors, and the atmosphere. He is excited to go everyday, and can't wait to go back. Growing up in martial arts myself, I know the importance and value that martial arts provides and Nubreed has a fantastic program. The kids program is absolutely stellar. Sifu Luigi and Sifu Alex are amazing with the children and their staff as well. We intend to stay with Nubreed for a long time, and can't wait until our other son is ready to join! Thank you Nubreed!

This is the saddest 5 star review I have written because I am moving and will no longer be able to attend Nubreed. I cannot recommend this academy more. It has been a fantastic place of learning, community, and solace for me over the past 3 years or so. The instructors are incredible and intelligent, kind, and patient people. I have gained so many valuable skills in self defense, in taking care of my physical health, and have learned so much about the discipline of JKD. The place is always clean and the classes are organized, and they play music during classes which is awesome. They do a great job at both pushing us to be better and letting us grow at our own pace. The yoga classes are also FANTASTIC, and are so great for mental and physical health. I will miss them dearly. I hope to come back one day !!
