I don’t know what they do to my Nala but every time I go to puppy club with her even if it’s for a treat, she goes right at the door excited to get groomed😂 Nala has been coming here since she was a puppy and I cannot express how wonderful the staff is with her. Whether it’s questioning about her treats or supplements, the staff is always helpful and they always approach Nala with so much love and care. Every time she leaves the groomers her nails are clipped and clean and she stays fresh for weeks. I love coming to NYC Puppy Club and for the looks of it so does Nala

My pup goes here and the staff are always helpful. Chris grooms my pup and they always do a wonderful job. Attention to detail and when dropping my pup to daycare (they do a behavior exam first) I love the concept of checking the camera and seeing how she’s doing & you can apply a credit to get discounts the more you go. This place is a Gem, they require updated vaccines. So glad to have found this place conveniently located.

The grooming process was thorough yet gentle—Jake is a bit of a nervous dog, but they were patient and calm with him, which really put my mind at ease. When I picked him up, he looked absolutely adorable! His coat was silky smooth, nails perfectly trimmed, and his ears were spotless. What really stood out was the level of professionalism. The facility was clean, well-maintained, and smelled fresh—definitely a reflection of how much pride they take in their work. The price was also very reasonable for the level of care and quality service provided. I will definitely be returning and recommending NYC Puppy Club to all my friends with dogs. I am genuinely so so upset - I can't even express how disappointed I am at Haemi's service. My husband took our dog to NY puppy club 1 week ago and they turned us down because our dog was very matted. They said that if we wanted to keep her hair long, that we need to brush her every day and come back a week later. My husband and I brushed her every single day for over 2 hours and reinforced her by giving her steak, pig ear, and more beef. Although it wasn't necessarily the most fun for her, she was perfectly fine with it. 1 week later, my husband takes her to NY puppy club and they say we did a good job and that there's still some matting (understandable) and that they'll refer to the haircut he showed her and charge $160 for the cut. 1 hour later, my husband gets a call from them saying that she's crying and they have to shave down all her hair. My husband asked at least to keep her face to the expectation of the picture - but they DID NONE OF THAT. they completely did not listen to even 1 request of ours and just shaved her down. I'm so confused at how an establishment that deals with dogs every day cannot handle a well behaved 9 month puppy and make this grooming experience for her SUCH an anxiety inducing one. She never cried so much before and it's clear she was put under so much stress. My husband and I did all that work per their advice for NOTHING. He traveled 1 hour for WHAT. For them to give up and give our baby the most ugly hair cut ever????? We repeatedly asked for her to keep her hair as long as possible. We understand that she's matted but it was no where near bad enough to shave it down like this. This is just lazy shoddy work at BEST. I will never ever come here again and tell all my friends to not come here if they don't want to ruin their dogs hair and increase their anxiety.

We saw lots of good reviews and decided to give it a try but we regretted our decision. It's a horrible experience for our dog and ourselves. First of all, the price wasn't transparent and it's a rip off. We booked a full grooming and it said full grooming price started $80. I understand price varies based on the size of the dog and condition of the hair and to our understanding, full grooming should include a bath, blow-dry, brush out, and nail trim, along with professional ear cleaning and a haircut. They added $7.00 for cleaning the teeth and we ended up paying $167+Tax ($181.83) but I don't think we got a full grooming service as his nails weren't trimmed and ears weren't cleaned properly. But that's not the worst. It was the experience being there, firstly the groomer Lydia was impatient and rude and did a BAD job for the hair cut. Our dog is a boy but she cut his hair looking like a girl and the lengths were disproportionate. Further more, I am not sure what she did to our dog as he couldn't sit properly and was scared to sit after the grooming. I checked his butt and found his butt cheeks had very big reddish spots. Was it from the shave or anything happened? We don't know cause the groomer didn't say anything about it. It's been 3 days and our dog is still scared to sit and we might need to bring him to the Vet. Further more, he kept licking his paws after the groom and when I checked them, his paws had red marks from bleeding. We will not recommend this place to anyone as the experience was horrible.
