I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Eric K. Oermann and the entire neurosurgery team at NYU Langone Health. Before my surgery I was experiencing severe back and leg pain and had lost much of my quality of life. From the very first meeting, Dr. Oermann impressed me not only with his exceptional professionalism, but also with his humanity and compassion. On the morning of my surgery, he came to see me early and spoke with such confidence and kindness that my fear disappeared. At that moment I felt that half of my healing had already begun. There is a beautiful idea from the ancient tradition of medicine: a great physician heals 50% with kind words, 25% with medicine, and 25% with the knife. In my experience, Dr. Oermann truly embodies this timeless wisdom. The surgery itself was performed with extraordinary precision and professionalism. When I later read the operative report, I realized the level of expertise and dedication involved. It was not simply a procedure — it was surgical mastery. Yes yes it's me again miss sugar leaving a great review for NYU langone Hospital. They definitely get five stars here are some of the names of the doctors and nurses that took very good care of me first let me give a big up to the emergency room. Definitely on point second is the staff 17 West. Daniel social worker. Orlando Nurse, Emma Nurse. Danielle nurse. Dr Larson, Nurse Francesca, Kenneth from dietary. These guys are the best when they said #1 in NY. They were not playing you, get the best care here for adults and children. I wouldn't bet my life on any other Hospital. Love NYU langone thank you guys for taking care of me. Even the rooms are clean. And check out the view. Ms Sugar

I am grateful for the chance to be alive. Two years ago I had the kidney transplant surgery and can't be more happier. Special thanks to Dr. Johnathan Berger, all nurses and doctors who were next to me during my treatment in the hospital. Great people 👏, great facility. God bless you all. 🙏

I took my friend to the ER here when she had alcohol poisoning and the staff were EXCELLENT. Everyone was so patient, attentive, and caring. All the nurses were super present with their patients making regularly appearances, checking in as frequently as possible, and trying to make them comfortable. The doctors also seemed to check in on the patients relatively frequently and were great at listening, understanding, and working to create a plan. They did not have rooms available and the hallways were packed with patients which is not ideal. They also had no more available chairs for family members / caregivers which was not great. However, the staff were so incredibly attentive and caring and tried to be understanding and accommodating for all the patients and family member given the situation. If you are looking for an ER with excellent, caring, and attentive staff, I would definitely recommend this hospital!

Worst place ever dirty no communication . Staff literally talk about u right by your door . Ignored by nurses doctors the only people really working are the patient care techs . Also a scam because I thought I was going to Bellevue this is not that . I feel worse then I did when í came 10 days ago . Rooms are small cramped and filthy no sanitation I cleaned the room and bathroom myself everyday . I'm a fall risk with a spinal injury and I have a pacemaker but I've done basically everything myself except give myself meds . I wouldnt drop my enemy off at this hospital.
