My husband and I came here for the first time to try their winter pre-fix menu. (it was worth it). I'm so glad we came because the food was delicious and was just on another level compared to what you get to try at normal restaurants. The presentation was beautiful, and the food tasted just as good as it looked! The staff was all super nice and friendly as well, and everything was prepared pretty timely. They really go out of their way to make you feel special and welcome. We HIGHLY recommend the Abalone Mandoo, Citrus Shrimp Naengchae, the Jokpyun, and the Jujube Tea!

Dining at ODRE was one of those experiences that stays with you long after you leave the table. From the first bite to the last, it genuinely felt like I was experiencing Korean cuisine in a way that was both deeply familiar and completely new at the same time. The dishes were undeniably Korean at heart, but each one carried a sense of creativity and refinement that made them feel truly special — not something you can easily find elsewhere. This felt like ODRE’s story of Korean food, not a copy of tradition, but a thoughtful and respectful evolution of it 🌿 What impressed me most was how delicate and precise every flavor was. The seasoning across all dishes was incredibly balanced — nothing too salty, nothing too heavy. Everything tasted clean, fresh, and intentional, making the entire meal feel surprisingly light and comfortable. I never felt overwhelmed, only curious and excited for the next dish ✨ The namul dishes especially stood out. Their flavors were unmistakably Korean — earthy, subtle, and familiar — yet presented in a way that felt elevated and modern. It brought a quiet sense of nostalgia while still feeling fresh and refined, which honestly isn’t easy to pull off. The white wine pairing was another highlight 🍷 The brightness and acidity of the wine complemented the dishes beautifully, enhancing the freshness of the ingredients and the subtle seasoning rather than overpowering them. It felt like the food and wine were in constant conversation with each other. Beyond the food, the atmosphere of the restaurant added so much to the experience. The space feels calm, intimate, and thoughtfully designed, allowing you to slow down and truly focus on what’s in front of you. It’s the kind of place where you naturally end up lingering a little longer, savoring each moment. Overall, ODRE offers more than just a great meal — it offers a unique, one-of-a-kind experience of Korean cuisine in New York. Refined but warm, innovative but respectful, and above all, deeply satisfying. A place I’d happily return to, and one I’d recommend without hesitation 🤍

I visited Odre NYC with my family to celebrate my mother’s birthday, and it was one of those rare meals that stay with you long after the night ends. We had come for the summer menu a few months ago and were so impressed that we decided to return for this special occasion. What moved us the most was the thoughtful gesture at the end of the meal—Odre replaced the final course’s soup with miyeok-guk, the traditional Korean birthday seaweed soup. It was unexpected, deeply considerate, and genuinely touching. What sets Odre apart is its ability to surprise even someone like me, who grew up with Korean cuisine. The menu is consistently fresh, inventive, and remarkably harmonious, offering combinations I would never think of, yet they come together flawlessly. Every course is plated with precision and beauty, but beyond aesthetics, the flavors and textures are balanced at a level that’s rare to find. The seasonal sotbap bibimbap and broth course—which changes throughout the year—remains one of my favorite endings to any tasting menu in New York. The care put into the rice, the depth of flavor, and the comforting warmth of the soup always feel like the perfect conclusion. On this visit, it became even more meaningful with the birthday miyeok-guk. Desserts such as the sweet potato cheesecake and persimmon shaved ice were equally thoughtful and beautifully executed. Every dish felt intentional, refined, and full of quiet confidence. It’s honestly hard to believe Odre hasn’t received a Michelin star yet, given the consistency, creativity, and heart in every part of the experience. This restaurant continues to be one of the most memorable and inspiring places to dine in New York.

This was a 7/10 meal. We tried the Jokpyun, the Citrus Red Shrimp Naengchae as a starter, and honestly both kind of fell flat in favour. For the second course, the guksu was rich but quite one dimensional in taste. Special mention to the Kimchi Tart, which was quite delightful and special and was honestly one of my favourite dishes of the night. The bibimbap and tteokgalbi were alright, and the fish dish was just okay. The sweet potato cheesecake hit hard though.
