Very high quality tsukemen in a small counter space. The tsukemen broth has a very strong smoked dashi with lots of concentrated katsuobushi bonito flavor. Noodles were perfectly chewy, and the lime was nice to break up the fattiness. The chasu was a little dry and could have been hotter. Also highly recommend the shrimp katsu pops to start.
Incredibly delicious classic and dipping ramen. Nothing too oily, fatty, or salty. Every element cooked perfectly and all made in-house. Mimi makes the experience unforgettable with her warm personality and efficient service to keep the line moving but not make you feel rushed. Will be going back again soon!
One of the best tsukemen spots in the city. The noodles are thick, chewy, and clearly handmade, while the dipping broth is rich, savory, and perfectly concentrated, comfort in every bite. The squeeze of lime adds a bright, surprising touch that balances the flavor beautifully. The space is small and minimalist, more focused on the food than atmosphere, but service is quick and efficient. It’s best for solo diners or a quiet meal for two. If you love ramen and haven’t tried tsukemen yet, start here, Okiboru sets the bar high!
We were in town for Super Bowl Sunday and basically went on a food tour. It was freezing cold so I wanted ramen. This place was small, you can see them cooking in front of you. It reminded me of Japan. Because we just ate, we just ordered the bao bun which was really good. The bread was light and the meat was tender. We got the fish and chicken dipping noodle and that was delicious. We got tired of dipping so we just poured the broth over the bowl. The lime & pepper made every bite perfect. Can't wait to go back.
Tried the tsukemen here today. The broth is flavorful but noticeably salty, so dip lightly if you’re sensitive. Noodles are chewy and good. Chashu was just okay, but the fried croquette skewers were surprisingly nice. Fast service, busy open kitchen. Good for a quick tsukemen fix, just keep the saltiness in mind.
