Old Sport Food

1st of all. Halal menu and best thing is the noodle are freshly made. You will taste the freshness in every bite. Broth was super tasty. I liked the lamb burger. Overall taste and experience was really good. Worth the try.

This was the best food I’ve had in a while. The staff is very nice and welcoming. I️ got the Braised Beef Noodle Soup with Pan Fried Dumplings. Absolutely amazing and I️ finished everything( including the soup) in one sitting. Thank so much for this hearty meal.

Been wanting to try this place. Its halal. The sesame chicken was alright. They are known for their noodles, which we got 10/10. It was flavorful and not too oily like other places. Their dumplings are nice and juicy. When I bit into it, juice literally flew everywhere haha And you can order directly from kiosk and sit and wait for your food. Plus prices are good.

Bit of a hole in the wall place off the beaten path. Very friendly workers here but there is no service per se. You order off a touch screen and food is brought to you. This includes water and drinks. The food is simple and good. We've gone twice and the first time was better with the soup lacking a bit of flavor last time we went. It's simple and clean food prepared well but honestly I don't think this is a top 100 NYC restaurant despite the reviews. (Also bathrooms are clean and nice which is a plus) Definitely give it a shot though.

As one of the earliest customers of this restaurant—and someone who has visited more than 20 times—I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others either. Over the past year, prices have increased by more than 50% while portions have been significantly reduced. I clearly remember my first visit: my partner and I ordered Lanzhou noodles and the big plate braised chicken. The portion was so large that we couldn’t even finish the braised chicken and had to take the noodles home for another meal. At the time, the Lanzhou noodles were only $10.99, and with their free membership, you could get an additional 20% off. It was an amazing deal. About a year later, after they opened two more locations in the city and brought in all their chefs, prices at this original location went up. Initially, I thought that was understandable—the discounted price was still reasonable, and the portions were fair. However, my most recent visit was extremely disappointing. The food quality has dropped dramatically. There was barely any braised chicken or beef in the dish, and the chicken was even served cold. It’s embarrassing to see such a steep decline in quality in just over a year. It’s no surprise that fewer neighborhood customers are coming anymore, given the high prices and poor taste.
