Shoutout to our server Abby! She helped cook everything, controlled the heat, and explained how to eat it the whole time. The experience was amazing. I prefer soy sauce‑based sukiyaki. It’s sweet and savory soy broth. We chose ribeye and Miyazaki A5 wagyu, both incredibly fresh. Just a quick dip in the broth, and they melt in your mouth, tender with a naturally sweet flavor. Love it

This Korean style hotpot is so delicious! This pot bottom is more layered than I imagined. It's not just a heavy flavored sauce, but a base soup made from pig bones and cow bones, with a hint of fermented bean sauce aroma. The more you cook, the smoother it tastes. After adding meat and vegetables, the soup will gradually become more rounded. And I added Winter Special - Polar Bears 🐻‍❄️ It’s really cute. When the heat rises, there is an inexplicable feeling of soaking in a hot spring, and the atmosphere is directly filled. Definitely will come visit again!

Oncheon is a beautiful Korean restaurant in Manhattan’s K-Town with a calm, refined atmosphere. The space is surrounded by greenery and warm wood interiors, making it perfect for a relaxed dinner or date night. The Crispy Beef Fritters are perfectly crunchy on the outside and juicy inside. The Seafood Kimchi Jeon is flavorful and well-balanced, with generous seafood and just the right amount of kimchi tang. From the Chanhap menu, the Basa Fish is light and delicate, the Unagi is rich yet not heavy, and the Wagyu Steak is tender with excellent quality and clean seasoning. Don’t skip dessert — the Green Tea Tiramisu is smooth, lightly sweet, and finishes the meal beautifully. A great spot in K-Town for elevated Korean cuisine in a stylish, plant-filled setting.

Oncheon NYC was perfect for a cold winter day. We ordered the Seafood Kimchi Jeon, which was crispy on the outside and full of flavor from the kimchi and fresh seafood. The Milk Tea Honeycomb Makgeolli was surprisingly smooth and lightly sweet — very easy to drink. We also had the Signature Doenjang Shabu-Shabu (4 Layer). The broth was rich and comforting, and everything from the Wagyu beef to the seafood platter was fresh and well-prepared. Cozy atmosphere, thoughtful flavors, and a very satisfying meal overall. Would definitely come back!

I had a fantastic meal at Oncheon. The whole Korean hot spring inspired concept is really unique, and it makes the experience feel different from your typical Korean restaurant in NYC. The focus on fresh meat and seafood really comes through. Everything tasted clean, high quality, and thoughtfully prepared. I actually loved the big screens on the walls showing different hot spring views. It added to the atmosphere and made the space feel immersive, though I can see how some people might find it a little cheesy. For me, it worked. We ordered the little polar bear add ons for the soup, which was a MISTAKE. They are cute, but watching them slowly melt into the broth was soooo sad and made me think about climate change and how the world is changing...I would not order them again, even though they are fun in theory. Service was good and prompt throughout the meal. It was not very crowded on a Thursday evening, which made for a relaxed vibe, but I do hope they get a little busier. Keeping all those screens running cannot be cheap. Overall, a really enjoyable and memorable meal. I would definitely go back.
