They are so wonderful and provide such deep and quality treatments. I’ve seen Jenny and Rachel and both are so so knowledgeable and skilled at targeting deep muscles. I love community acupuncture and I highly recommend checking them out. I moved farther away but still travel for them because there’s nowhere else this great.

In the past, I haven't had consistent access to acupuncture, largely because it's been cost prohibitive. Open Community Care makes this accessible at a sliding scale. Prior to this new space opening, I had been going to Jenny Kim for two years for both acupuncture and cupping. When I first started receiving the care, my tendinitis was unbearable and I was in excruciating daily pain. I was unable to do any activities after a work day. Her approach has made all the difference! Not only has my tendinitis become manageable, my stress levels have decrease, my digestion has improved, and overall my quality of life and ability to show up both at work and socially is leaps and bounds better. Within the field of practice, Jenny Kim is one of the most talented and phenomenal practitioners. She’s highly skilled, intuitive, and creates a comfortable environment to receive this important care. A community supported acupuncture center is an incredible resource for Brooklyn. Could not recommend highly enough! Oh, and they also have a highly curated and thoughtful selection of herbs, tinctures, supplements, etc.

I’ve finally found the best acupuncture practice I’ve ever been to in the city. I go here every Saturday morning and basically get privatized treatment while paying the community rate—that is how much they care about all their customers. Jenny is the best acupuncturist I’ve ever worked with because she personalizes every treatment and really gets to the root cause of all my pain. I leave every session feeling sore and tired but am free of all pain the day after—the best feeling ever! If she’s this caring for community-rate paying customers, I can only imagine how much more care she puts into private appointments. Besides the service, the facilities are pristine and well maintained. Highly recommend Open Care Community!
