I’ve been coming here for a couple years now and most recently six months ago I had a wedding to attend and needed my Vivienne Westwood Dress altered and zipper moved over a bit so it was easier to zip up, they were so kind and understood exactly what I wanted and needed. Best of all they completed this in 2 hours and I had it after coming back from lunch. Highly recommend!!

I went here for an original hem job on my jeans -- a standard tailoring job, nothing unusual. They sewed through the original hem, not above it. This ruined the original hem. There was also a different color thread mixed in at one section (see photo). The staff are nice, turnaround quick, price reasonable ($15) but the most important thing for me is quality work and this job ruined my brand new jeans.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! extremely poor/rude service, ruined my dress and did not own up to their actions. needed to take in my strapless bridesmaids dress and hem it shorter. they took it in way too much to the point where it doesn't fit me anymore. they hemmed the bottom at different lengths so the bottom of the dress is uneven and all lopsided. they were very sloppy and very careless with my dress, leaving random sewing machine track marks all over it. i went in to explain what happened and expected a refund on my tailor and payment of my now damaged dress. they said they can give me a refund for the tailor (they asked me how much i paid for it so they just make up arbitrary numbers) or they could try to fix it (i already went to a different tailor and they said they didn't leave enough give to let it out, so it was not fixable). they also said they will not be paying for the damaged dress. i was upset that they wouldn't pay for something they damaged.. and then some guy said i could take them to small claims court if i wanted to. i was like huh?? this is how you treat your customers?? i didn't think i was asking for anything crazy since THEY damaged my dress. overall very unhappy with the service and experience. do not recommend.

I went to this place because it came highly reviewed and honestly I don’t recommend. The people in there were so rude and were really rushing me and not being very attentive. It’s pretty expensive for not the best work - hems are uneven, already frying etc. The only good thing is it’s quick.

Used to go here all the time to get alterations. The tailors themselves were always polite and did a good job. Their prices were more than reasonable and I also tipped them because I wanted to show my appreciation. Then I noticed that a balding hispanic guy with missing teeth at the front desk who I'm assuming is the owner/manager would speak Spanish to the "cutter" (the guy who was chalking and preparing the items) and the prices I usually paid, doubled. I'm not the confrontational type so I just let it go. This happened a few times and I finally stopped going altogether, which is unfortunate because I really liked the fact that my alterations would usually be done while I waited (I don't live in the neighborhood and it saved me a trip going back and forth). My guess is that the head guy assumed I had money because I'm white (or maybe he just doesn't like white people, I don't know) but in the long run he was penny wise and pound foolish because I'm a clothes horse and I used to go there often. So the few bucks he overcharged cost him a lot more. Now I go elsewhere.
