We love this family restaurant! The food is fantastic and the owners are super friendly. Not to mention that it is a great value for the money!
I’ve been coming here over the past 5 years and all I can say is that this is one of the few really good mom and pop Vietnamese restaurants in Chinatown. The owner and staff are all so friendly, warm and lovely. The atmosphere is gentle and warm. Last but not least the food is fantastic. I usually get the satay beef Pho but today ended up getting a beef tomato soup that was just as amazing :). The photo doesn’t do it justice as I am already halfway through my meal… 10/10 recommend on a cold weather day as their soups are hearty and healthy, and 10/10 on a hot day as well because their vermicelli plates are perfect for a summer refresher. I’ll be back soon ~
My favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Chinatown, and a great place to grab some Vietnamese-American food. I believe it's the oldest Vietnamese restaurant in at least Chinatown NYC, if not all of NYC that still exists. The food is tasty, consistent, and affordable. The staff are fine and the place is always clean and smells amazing. I'm a huge fan of Pho so this place helps satisfy that itch whenever I'm in the area.
I stopped in for a quick dinner after work and had a lovely meal! The basic beef pho was very nice and I took half home - the portion was very generous, especially for the price. It’s a great deal considering the typical cost of food in the area. The service was attentive and the man and woman that were working there were very kind. I also enjoyed the atmosphere!
this is a very traditional Vietnamese restaurant, with a menu not just pho and bann Mi, but more diverse options from northern, central and southern vietnam. they also serve traditional vietnamese coffee is a must try. The restaurant is very traditional, the oldest viet restaurant in NYC. the staff there speaks Vietnamese. we got seated right away during lunch time on the weekend, it was not busy at all. service is fast i had the bún bò huế which is a central Vietnam dish with spicy, salty, and savory flavors. it comes with thick and round vermicelli noodle, loaded with flavor. Make sure to try their grill pork chop, is well marinated with lemongrass and sweetness to it.
