People's Bakery Pastry Shop

Bought pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving so my Chinese family could try it. They never had it before and they liked it because it wasn’t too sweet

Layout/atmosphere *Small shop with display case Food/drink *Cannoli - good; candied fruit with chocolate chips in the cream; shell little too flaky (chocolate version held up better)

The store staff was rude and unhelpful but that wasnt even close to the worst part. The cheesecake was old and had mold on the bottom. Absolutely disgusting that they would sell pastries with mold on them.

I purchased a cake slice from this bakery today (see photos). When I cut into it at home, I found mold inside the cream filling. Unfortunately, my toddler had already eaten some before I noticed. This is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about food safety and quality control. If you care about what you serve your family, be cautious buying here.

I ordered a tres leches cake and got a regular cake with strawberry filling. Then when I brought it back the baker was trying to tell me that’s how he makes his tres leches. It was dry and there’s was no milk in it, and they were also rude. As you can see on the pictures I took. There is no milk.
