Cannot say enough good things about Brian and his firm.He took the time to ensure we understood key parts of our tax returns. He also has many clients in California and is familiar with the tax laws there.

I hired Perkis CPA in Q1 2022 to complete my personal and small business tax returns. After filing an extension, his team began working on my return at the end of May. After infrequent communication over the next seven months, during which time I never heard from Brian, my returns were not completed until the last week of December. This resulted in hundreds of dollars in late fees and interest and a state filing payment being submitted twice. Three weeks after writing Brian to ask about the delay in completing my filings and the duplicate payment error, he responded letting me know he would be terminating me as a client and would not help recover the overpayment with no explanation. This has been the worst result I have ever had working with an accountant and I strongly caution against working with Perkis CPA.
