We love Petopia! They are so sweet and attentive with our baby Ooppie. Ooppie has extreme anxiety and hates going to Vets but he loves coming here. They take their time and explain things in depth and never try and make you do things your pet doesn't need. They are very knowledgeable and aware of your pets needs. Thank you for always being so good to our baby ❤️🫰🏼
As a parent to a senior dog battling IVDD, the anxiety and worry can be overwhelming. Finding Dr. Jeong has been a true blessing. He has an incredible ability to communicate and reassure (Korean and English, also the nurse at Petopia speaks Chinese). Dr. Jeong took the time to listen to all my concerns and answered every question I had with such patience and clarity, never making me feel rushed. His calm and thoughtful demeanor put both me and my old dog at ease. Dr. Jeong is very gentle with our dog during sessions and provided invaluable, detailed advice for home care. I highly recommend him to anyone, especially senior dog parents dealing with IVDD. As senior pet parents, we want to do everything we can for our IVDD dogs, and acupuncture has been a vital part of that. However, I recognize that this healing journey is a long way to go, both in terms of time and expense. To support families like ours who are in it for the long haul, we would be so grateful if the clinic would explore offering session packages. Hopefully later in the future, there will be acupuncture package available for dog parents to purchase. Thank you again for Dr. Jeong.
Our first visit with new Vet. He was very professional and explained every point when I had questions or concerns. Very friendly staff and overall, very satisfy. Will recommend to my all other dog moms.
This is my second time taking my cat to this clinic, but this time because I didn't have an appointment i paid more $99, no get any discounts. I felt poorly treated, as if I was asking them something for free. They rushed me and my cat was bleeding in her eye. All the doctor did was clean her with gauze and say she should be taken to a specialist, $99.00 for that. They didn't even cure her. The assistant, who I don't know is the son he was rude and harsh towards me, just because I told him to please weigh her, which is the first thing they do in every doctor's office. He raised his voice to me, a woman over 50 years old, and said, "I have already told you this many times," something he had not said to me because he was in a hurry.The doctor also didn't have much patience because I think he's Korean and I'm Hispanic and I didn't understand very well what he was saying to me. I felt poorly treated in this place and they gave him her an injection and gave me something to clean the wound. Have to pay $245.70 total.
I had an extremely heartbreaking and disappointing experience at this hospital. When I brought my dog in for seizures, the hospital administered medication, a anal injection, and blood test. I was charged a total of $477, yet none of these treatments addressed the real issue or improved her condition. The staff and doctor told me that “seizures can look like this” and reassured me as if it was normal. they mention this is severe but wish they could have told me go immediately to the emergency center. They advised me to go home and wait until tomorrow for additional blood tests. As an ordinary pet owner with no medical knowledge, I trusted their judgment completely. While my dog appeared slightly better during the short time we were at the hospital, things changed drastically after we returned home. Within an hour, she began having seizures every five minutes. I rushed her to the emergency center immediately. At the emergency center, I was told that her temperature was extremely high and likely causing organ damage. I was also told that with seizures this severe, they should have referred me going to the emergency ER right away. Instead of warning me, the hospital reassured me and even sold me items like energy gel and wet food — despite the fact that her tongue was already hanging out and she physically could not eat. Those items now mean nothing except unnecessary profit for the clinic. I would have taken her to the emergency center immediately or at least allowed her to pass peacefully without suffering for hours. Now I’m left wondering if I made the wrong decisions because I wasn’t properly informed or I shouldn't have brought her to this vet in the first place, which is all my fault. We trusted them completely, and a lack of urgency and clear guidance left me with deep quilty and sorrow.
