PRIME Mēt Steakhouse

I took my daughter for a birthday weekend girls getaway trip and we came to this hotel which was amazing. I learned of this restaurant when I checked in. This place is located on the twelfth floor to your left right outside of the elevators. This place is pricey but worth every single penny!! Thank goodness I didn't need a reservation. I ordered the steak and it was superb! It was cooked to perfection. My daughter loved her dinner too! Our drinks were sweet and made just as we requested. Their bathroom is clean but was a little confused that it was co-ed. No big deal. I'm definitely coming back here with my whole family.

That's not gonna cut if you wanted to use cash for your meal here.

Prime Met Rooftop Steakhouse at the Renaissance New York Flushing Hotel offering American fare and happy-hour drinks. It is a good vibe with DJ on certain evenings and is great for pics! The food is good but the views are even better! I do recommend going here at least once and "see" for yourself! Enjoy!

Speaking just about the food, I honestly didn’t find anything memorable. It was all pretty average. From the photos, what I remember is that the potatoes were cut too large, the macaroni felt a bit too heavy, and the steak was decent. But since it’s a steakhouse, I feel like that’s something they’re supposed to get right. One thing I really wasn’t a fan of was the drinks. Both cocktails I tried were poorly balanced and just didn’t taste good. The dessert was also too sweet for my liking. However, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The decor is elegant and makes it a good spot for a date. The Chinese server was also really attentive. He noticed I didn’t like the drinks and offered a complimentary dessert. If you go around sunset, the view from the terrace is also beautiful and you can catch some great evening skies. But one thing I’m sure of is that I won’t be coming back here to enjoy that sunset again.

Rating is based fully on food. Like some ratings said nothing was memorable. Very basic flavors. Mac and cheese with lobster was very flavorless. The drinks were yummy. Service was great. The vibes are awesome. Will come back to see the roof top and try drinks only.
