Providence Baptist Church

Since I started attending in May 2024, Providence Baptist Church has become the center of my life in New York City. It is filled with true, God-fearing Christians; wonderful people who made me feel at home as a new Christian. Each Sunday at PBC is sanctifying, offering edifying sermons, beautiful congregational hymn singing, and lots of fellowship. I am grateful for this amazing little church.

A diamond in the rough. PBC is no watered down, loveless gathering of unbelieving city dwellers. This church is alive and committed to proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ, and making faithful disciples. God’s Word takes full authority, and it challenges any worldly notions while nourishing each member and fostering strong, gracious relationships and a hospitable culture. I’m grateful for this church and I think everyone should visit.

Biblically sound, expository teaching. A vibrant, and growing congregation. Believers from all walks of life, from all throughout the five boroughs coming together to serve and worship the Lord in the heart of NYC.

This church has been such a light from God in a dark city like nyc. Ive been here at PBC for about a year now, this church is in one of the most left leaning progressive cities in america where your spiritually under attack on all sides every single day. And the bonds that have been formed here through Jesus Christ the Lord have only continued to grow stronger and stronger. I love fellowshipping any chance I get with my brothers and sisters, the teaching and biblical correction is most definitely present. May God continue to bless this church gift after gift after gift as he's continued to do.❤️

This church knows what it means to follow and love Jesus. The preaching is Biblical and Gospel centered. PBC believes that scripture is inerrant and sufficient. The community is unmatched.
