(Marga)rita is the best bartender on the main dance floor. The second floor bartenders (all) are phenomenal. Definitely pricey the ambience was good. Again, Rita is and will forever be the best 🫶

Note: this is about Art Space, the club in the basement Headline: very normal club Details: We got tickets for about $50 a person, having seen this place on TikTok as a pretty fun club to go to. I did appreciate the disco ceiling decor and that it wasn’t super crowded (but had a good amount of people, enough to feel all the energy), and that’s about it. From the constant house music with no words to the lack of anything else happening, it was a very normal club experience. It’s just a block or two away from The Box, it feels like Loosie’s, and those two are much more memorable than this place in their own ways. No need to come back, come if you want a very normal club experience!

The inside looks very nice. But the vibe was not it, music was not that good, no one was dancing just standing around. To get in 50 dollars per person or 400 dollar bar tab depending on the size of the group. Just very expensive for not so good music.

DO NOT COME HERE. Bouncer assaulted me and I know others with similar experiences. He grabbed my arm and yanked me out of line and past the rope when I went back to get my boyfriend from the line. We were told it would be $30 at the door for him, then when we got there he said “nope i changed it it’s $100 now”. I have been a couple times prior to this experience and they have made me step out of line for using a fake ID even though I am almost 23. They are genuinely the worst and rudest bouncers I have ever met and completely ruined the whole space for us. Definitely will not ever be returning, and hope the guy who did this gets fired. As far as the inside goes, it differs depending on the day you go. Sometimes it 60 year olds dancing, and other times it’s 18-28 year olds. Vibe also depends a lot of the DJ. Sometimes they are really good, and sometimes really bad. Also, I have tried coming with two different promoters. One completely ditched me and never showed, and the other never advocated more me or my bf during the whole fiasco. I’m ranking it a 1/5 just for the disco balls on the inside, but honestly not worth your time at all unless you don’t care about getting assaulted and yelled at in line.

I do not care what anyone has to say about this review, but if you are somewhat versed on nightlife in general you understand that certain nightclubs have dress codes and that is always best to check before arriving. I checked the dress code and no links worked or any information was provided except for door makes final decision. This is where they will they get you. If you do not adhere to the dress code they will let you in, but only if you spend a certain amount at the bar. In our case it was $150 for the both of us, but when the information was related to security, it was $200 a person, so $400 in total. We saw people with shorts get admitted after us by the way. Call ahead and figure out the dress code ahead of schedule or risk being treated like we were. Dont let the allure of the place compromise your morals and values for this place.
