It's always a great experience from the moment I enter PURA for routine appointments or procedures. The front of the house staff are delightful, conversational and witty -all while being highly efficient. Dr. Lodha-also witty-is very thorough in scanning, diagnosing and treating. Nicoline is stellar too. And all the aids, nurses assistants and techs are clear with directions and explain well how to follow a treatment protocol and follow-ups. Excellent dermatologist! Dr. Lodha has outstanding bedside manners, truly listens, and provides thoughtful, objective care. He takes the time to understand every concern and explains treatment options clearly and patiently. I highly recommend Dr. Lodha to anyone in need of a skilled and compassionate dermatologist. His staff is professional, kind, and respectful—truly a pleasure to interact with. The wait time is consistently excellent, which shows how well the office is run. I went in for acne treatment and Dr. Nicoline is just phenomenal. Within 1 month I saw a difference and by month 3, my skin looked so much clearer. She didn’t give me too many products to use (they were gradually incorporated rather than all at once) and even if I forget to use one occasionally, my skin still looks great. I’m working on a couple other skin issues and Dr. Nicoline is very knowledgeable and kind as we spoke about them. Desk staff are warm and welcoming, and the wait time is always minimal. Highly recommend.

I’m not a fan of Dr. Lodha, though thankfully I only had to see him once. I go in for a specific treatment, and he tried to push skincare for acne he pointed out, which was not a concern of mine. Additionally, I mentioned a medical change that I felt was correlated with the medication I was receiving during my treatments. He was very dismissive and said, “No, the medicine does not do that.” However, I called my general practitioner the same day, and she said it was more than likely being caused by the medication. I also asked a few other doctors—since I am a marketing advisor for a medical group—and they agreed it could very well be the cause. That said, he does appear to invest a lot of time and money into his own skincare and seems to pay more attention to that aspect. On a positive note, I am a very big fan of Nicoline Tegnell, the PA there. She has excellent bedside manner, remembers details, and has an overall great disposition. My experiences with the receptionists have also always been pleasant, and I think they have a superb appointment-tracking system that sends reminder texts.

Dr. Lodha was able to quickly identify my skin condition, which I appreciated. However, both of my visits felt very rushed. During my second appointment for a spot removal, the procedure also felt hurried. Overall, I didn’t feel as cared for as I would have expected
