Queens Ballroom Dance

We had an Amazing experience at the children's holiday party. Highly recommend for future events. We will be back for sure. Our girls had a blast! Such fun entertainment, activities, dressed up characters and exciting games. Very well organized with nice holiday decor and picture wall. It was our first time and it definitely exceeded our expectations. The price was unbelievably affordable so we didn't expect much. But even sweet treats ,cotton candy, popcorn , photo with Santa and a present for every child was included. Can't beat that! But most importantly the atmosphere, high energy and lots of fun. Looking forward do the dance classes trial in January!

We had the best experience working with Mina as our wedding dance instructor and choreographer! With very different backgrounds (I danced ballroom in college and my husband was brand new), Mina created a beautiful, fun routine that felt just right for both of us. She was incredibly supportive, patient, and encouraging — my husband felt completely comfortable learning, which was so important to us. The dance ended up being one of our favorite parts of the wedding, and we’ve gotten so many compliments on it. We had such a great time that we’re planning to keep taking lessons with her even after the wedding. Can’t recommend Mina enough!

We took our kids (7 years old, 5 years old, and a 1 year old) to the Easter party at QBD, and they had such a fun time! They loved the Egg hunt, the dance party, and the Easter bunny. All three kids were super engaged and excited. And they collected so many eggs! This was our first time to the QBD kid party, and we will definitely be back!

We recently attended an Egg hunt at Queens Ballroom Dance 💃. It was an Alice in Wonderland themed party with great photo booths and fun music. The Easter Bunny came out to the kids and everything was organized so that each child could collect a basket of surprise eggs. My 6 year old daughter was very happy.

We had the BEST instructor we could have asked for when it came to putting together (and eventually mastering) our first dance! As Queens locals, we were thrilled to hear that Queens Ballroom Dance was a short drive to us and offered the kind of dance prep we were looking for ahead of our big day. We went in expecting to just learn a few moves so we'd be comfortable on the dance floor but our instructor choreographed a simple but extremely elegant dance for us to our chosen song of "Beyond" by Leon Bridges over the course of five lessons. We are beginner dancers but our instructor's teaching style was so easy to follow and encouraging -- she made us feel like we were pros! She made sure that we were comfortable with every dance move along the way and always gave us such helpful feedback that made us feel confident with what we were learning. After each 45 minute session, we couldn't wait to practice our moves and learn what was next -- we were so excited to go back for more. Following our fifth session, we couldn't believe it was coming to an end but we left feeling like we could take on the world -- or at least our wedding venue's dance floor :) Everything our instructor envisioned and helped us execute came together so beautifully on our wedding night -- and all of our guests were blown away by our first dance! We were smiling ear to ear the entire dance and had the best time of our lives showcasing our amazing routine as newlyweds.
