Nice building, beautiful neighborhood. Closed today Thanksgiving Day 2025.
Great selection of test prep materials. If the library does not have what you need, you can submit a title for the library to purchase. Nice facilities. The free WiFi has a strong signal. Tables are great for studying (but arrive early). Bathrooms are on the lower level. There is the occasional, unstable visitor making noise and the occasional individual using the bathroom as a rest stop and shower.

Very big and clean. They have a video game section which isn't at every queens library location. There's also many dvds and books. 3rd floor is a children's room which had a wide variety of children's books. Couldn't find any toys for kids though, unlike Woodhaven library. 5 stars overall, definitely coming again
This is one of the more modern public libraries in Queens. Here are a few no bs hard facts:
- bathrooms and water fountain in the basement only. I found the bathroom to be not the most clean
- the reading room on the second floor is gorgeous with lots of sunlight
- you need to register to use the computers. The chairs for computer access are stacked so you can’t sit there
- wifi is stable
- seats are somewhat limited. I went on random weekday afternoon and it took a few minutes to find a table
- just like most libraries in nyc, not open on Sunday! We need more funding for public libraries. This is one of the best things my taxes pay for.

It's a quiet public library in Elmhurst, Queens. The staffs at the customers service and a front desk at 2nd floor are helpful and nice.
The reading spaces are big enough for readers
The library is clean, well organized with modern style
If anything I can request here, it'd be the scent of the library because I have to hold my breath while I'm using the computer because I smell BO "Body odor"
