라홍부 마라탕 뉴저지 Rahongbu Malatang 辣洪府 麻辣烫

I come to NJ often from Flushing, NY, and most of the time I make sure to have lunch at Rahongbu because I LOVE their dry hot pot. I especially enjoy the banchan they serve, like the peanuts and sweet potato fries, and the flavor is always consistent — unlike some places where it changes every time. Always a satisfying meal! 😋

This was our first time trying these dishes, and they were absolutely phenomenal. The flavors were fresh and well-balanced, and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. The service was excellent. Extremely attentive, friendly, and professional from start to finish!!! The location is great as well, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place!

A good Korean/Chinese restaurant with ample street food choices. Food was descent and the venue was reasonably clean and roomy. Service was fine. The restaurant opened until quite late, convenient for a late night meal.

The service at this restaurant was excellent—the staff at the front desk were very friendly, and the whole place was clean and spacious. It was our first visit, and we ordered the spicy dry pot and some BBQ. The BBQ was delicious, but the spicy dry pot didn’t quite meet my expectations. It tasted like it was cooked with hot pot seasoning, which isn’t necessarily bad, but some of the ingredients didn’t absorb the flavors well. It felt like the seasoning was just coating the surface rather than blending with the dishes. Overall, it was a good experience, but the dry pot could use some improvement.

I’m pretty sure all these reviews are fake. We waited 15 minutes, then a man from the back came and took our orders. He then proceeded to take our food to the back and separate ingredients with his bare hands, without having washed his hands. Malatang was so bad… it tasted like old bean sprout water, if you can imagine that. Left all my food as it was inedible and walked out, waste of money. Go to mala mini instead.. but don’t go too often cuz I don’t like to wait.
