I recently got LASIK done with Dr. Fong. Before my surgery, I always had to wear my glasses. This was inconvenient when exercising and cooking, and my glasses would always slip. The entire process, from my initial consultation to post-surgery checkups, was quick and easy despite the fact that I live out of state. The staff team and Dr. Fong were all very welcoming and professional. I have to thank them for my new 20/20 vision, which is a gift that just keeps giving. I would recommend Dr. Fong to anyone that is interested in LASIK!

I've been a patient of Dr. Fong since he started his eye care business. He, performed lasik surgery on me many years ago and I was able to see clearly right away, and to this day my vision is still 20/20. It was a relief not to have to wear glasses with thick lens anymore. Also, as I am getting older Dr. Fong also did cataract surgery on my eyes. Dr. Fong, and his staff are the best! I've recommended Dr. Fong to my family members and friends, and everyone is very happy, and satisfied with him and his staff. I travel from Staten Island to Manhattan for my eye appointments, and he's the only eye doctor that I would trust with my eyes.

I had cataract surgery with Dr Fong in April 2025, and I am very happy with the outcome. My vision is now so clear I can swim and see faces in the pool—no glasses needed for everyday life. Dr Fong is knowledgeable, experienced, and truly empathetic. Highly recommend! 👏

This review does not pertain to Dr. Fong and is only about the female doctor we saw recently. According to their website, its Dr. Maryam Yamani that we saw. We were here for a very specific problem with the eye, but that was brushed off and never resolved. She asked a lot of questions but wouldn't even let us answer by talking over us with more questions. Her focus seems to be only on getting surgery for cataracts which I can understand, especially for elderly patients. However, the way it was verbally delivered to me and the patient sounded extremely unprofessional. We were not given specific details about the patient's cataract situation and was just told "It's worse than last time," and "don't be a chicken" when we said no to surgery. That's just not how you develop trust with your patients because surgery of any kind is no joke. Overall, the appointment felt rushed and uninformative despite the fact there were only a few patients (less that 5). And unfortunately, the Dr was quite dismissive, condescending, and unprofessional.
