Dr. Zou is a fantastic doctor. Warm, knowledgeable, careful and caring. Also, facilities and other staff are great!

I had my annual exam with my primary care physician and had a very positive experience. He was thorough, attentive, and took the time to review my overall health carefully. After the exam, he referred me to the appropriate specialists, and once the results revealed some issues, he clearly explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. We had a very good, meaningful conversation about my treatment plan. He answered my questions, gave clear recommendations, and emphasized the importance of following instructions and next steps. I really appreciated his thoughtful and proactive approach, as well as the follow-up to make sure everything was addressed properly. He is very knowledgeable, intelligent, and confident in his decision-making. I feel well cared for and trust his medical judgment. I would highly recommend him as a primary care

Dr. Zou is fantastic. He listens to all my concerns, makes sure that I have the care that I need, and actively remember nonclinical details about me so we can even have fun small talks.

He is clearly in a rush. I spent five minutes with him. I asked him two basic questions during my physical, which he said he couldn’t help me with and referred me to specialists, and charged me for an additional visit. The one their billing department is hammering me on is that I said I had discomfort in my leg while running, and he said I should get an ultrasound. If you come in for a physical, don’t ask him anything else at all, no matter how minor. Don’t let him give you a referral - it’ll just be to another department in Weill and they will charge you a couple hundred bucks just for the referral. The billing office said “a physical is just for height, weight, and blood pressure.” By the letter of the law, sure, but that’s not the kind of doctor I would trust with my actual health. I will add too to be very careful with their billing office. I visited in September and immediately disputed the bill when it came in. I followed up twice in October, once each in November, December, and January. Each time they said that the bill was in review and I would hear back in a couple business days, but they sent my bill to collections before getting back to me. I would record any phone call I have with them as they try to nickel and dime you - I started doing so too late.
