Dr. Hong has been my primary doctor for several years. She is professional and knowledgeable. The receptionists are helpful. The medical assistants are meticulous. Highly recommended.

I had a very positive experience at this clinic. The staff were welcoming, professional, and attentive. The medical staff took the time to listen to my concerns and explained everything clearly, which made me feel comfortable in the care I was receiving. The clinic itself was clean, well-organized, and maintained a calm environment.
Dr Hong is one of the best doctors I have ever met. She is very patient and has empathy to her patients. My whole family have been seeing her for over 20years. She trully cares about her patient! Plus she is very knowledgeable and give the best advices for patient to be healthy!
I recently visited Dr. Hong Jia’s office and, unfortunately, had an extremely disappointing experience with the receptionist and office staff. From the moment I arrived, their attitude was unprofessional, dismissive, and lacking basic courtesy. Rather than providing a welcoming and helpful environment, they seemed impatient and uninterested in assisting patients, which is unacceptable in a healthcare setting. I have been a patient of Dr. Hong since 2020 and have always trusted their medical care. On Thursday, February 27, 2025, I visited the clinic after suffering from a fever for three days. Given my longstanding relationship with the doctor, I expected a smooth check-in process. However, Jenny, the receptionist, questioned whether I had selected Dr. Hong as my primary care physician. I confirmed that I had and also pointed out that I have commercial insurance, which does not require me to designate a primary doctor in order to receive treatment. At that point, Candy, who I believe is the office manager, stepped in and stated that I had not had a physical exam at their clinic in the past two years. I explained my situation in detail: I was pregnant from 2023 to 2024, gave birth in 2024, and am currently nursing my seven-month-old son. Given the hormonal, metabolic, and nutritional changes that occur during breastfeeding, I had intentionally postponed my physical exam until after I finished nursing. Rather than understanding or showing empathy, Candy responded in an unnecessarily harsh and condescending manner, stating that I must complete my physical exam at their clinic in the future or I would no longer be allowed to see the doctor there. She emphasized that they should not be treated as an urgent care facility. This response was both shocking and disappointing. It is completely normal for patients to visit their primary doctor when they are unwell—after all, that is the fundamental purpose of seeking medical care. No one goes to a doctor’s office "for fun" when they are feeling fine. A medical clinic should prioritize patient health and well-being, not enforce unreasonable policies that create barriers to care. Candy’s attitude and behavior were unacceptable, and Jenny’s dismissive approach only added to the negative experience. The way patients are treated by front desk staff has a significant impact on their overall experience and willingness to continue care at a facility. A lack of empathy, professionalism, and basic courtesy reflects poorly on the clinic and can discourage patients from seeking necessary medical attention. I sincerely hope that management takes this issue seriously and provides proper customer service training to ensure a more positive, respectful, and professional experience for patients. A warm and accommodating front desk staff is essential to maintaining patient satisfaction and the clinic’s reputation.
