Dr Lu is great. He is nice and sympathetic. His acupuncture technique relieved my pain and other symptoms. Highly recommend.

I travel from the UES to see Dr Lu because he is both an excellent Dr and a fantastic Acupuncturist. Knowledgeable from his years of experience, Dr Lu also stays up to date with latest developments in medical care and research. Highly recommended.

My wife and I were referred to Dr. Lu for a consult about infertility by my mom's friend who is a close friend of Dr. Lu. We were already working with another doctor but they really wanted us to meet with Dr. Lu so he could give us a second opinion. After meeting with the doctor, he told us about the benefits of acupuncture. We were skeptical and told him we were okay with just the consult and also because we didn't think insurance would cover it. As we were leaving, he tried to convince us again and we declined. He then told us he would provide acupuncture for us for no charge because he wanted us to try it. It was strange but we figured he was being nice to us because we knew one of his good friends. We ended up spending nearly $300 for the office visit and some herbs on the day of the visit which we were told was all we were going to be responsible for. Unfortunately, we just received a bill in the mail for over $100 that says it was for the acupuncture. I called the billing dept and they said they spoke to Dr. Lu and he is denying that he said it was free and the bill needs to be paid. Very low and dishonest I recommend everyone to find someone else. Edit: after seeing what happened in my review, the clinic called me to waive the bill. Happy they were able to assist, but it shouldn't have come to this. Changed review to from 1 to 3 stars (neutral) due to them providing assistance and solving the issue with the bill.

I'd give this place and Rong Bao Lu a 0 if there was an option. The front desk person pulled a drawer out and spat in it while my partner and I waited and slammed the drawer shut, this is where they also keep their paperwork, in the spitting drawer. The doctor himself is the most impatient and snarky medical professional I have encountered.
