I’m from Brazil but have been living in NYC for 2 years, and recently I realized I needed to level up my English to thrive in the job market. Great English study and practice experience for foreigners in NYC. I had the opportunity to live in NYC for a while and decided to take advantage of it by enrolling in a four-week intensive English course at Rennert International. After researching other similar institutions, Rennert’s cost and reviews attracted me. And it was the best decision I could have made! Without a doubt, the time I spent there was the highlight of my stay in the city. Since I only studied there for one month, I didn’t become fluent, but I definitely feel more confident and secure when speaking English. The school has excellent facilities and a kind and attentive tea, from the management and teachers to the administrative staff. You can also make great friends during the classes. A special thanks to Valerie, who always brings current and relevant topics to the classes, and also offers tours to iconic parts of New York on Fridays, along with sharing useful tips about life in the city. The school is in a fantastic location, just a few steps from the New York Public Library and subway stations. It’s also close to Grand Central Station, Times Square, Broadway theaters, and the Museum of Modern Art, among other landmarks.

I had a wonderful experience at Rennert. After two months, I’m honestly a bit sad that it’s already over! The classes were great and I learned a lot. The location is perfect, the atmosphere is very welcoming and both the teachers and the school staff are incredibly kind and supportive. After four years of working, it was such a pleasure to go back to school in this environment. A special thank you to Stu and Valerie who were amazing teachers throughout my time there. I would highly recommend this school to anyone wanting to improve their English in New York.
